Love these mounts, they work perfectly

I have in total, 5 of these. Honestly, I don't even care to find out what else is out there. I mainly use Samsung Note devices, with bulky cases due to work demands. These hold up amazingly. Reason why I have 5 is because after I initially purchased mine, I found myself having to remove it and put it in my second car, and etc. So I purchased a second. Then, my family members kept going through their cheap $5 ones, so they decided to try these.Careful, you still need the xProDock Holder since this is just the holder. They work in unison.

Seems to work reasonably well on my textured dash, but, for whatever reason, doesn't seem to stay stuck as well as the Rok2 that it replaced. I've had it come un-stuck if I make the mistake of parking facing-into the sun. The Rok2 had done this also, but, that was only after about 2 years of use; the Rok3 comes-off (in the sun) even though I've only had it a few months. I do like that the extended arm pushes the phone out, away from the dash (and closer to me) a tad-bit more than the Rok2, but, perhaps it is because of the Rok3's longer "lever arm" (more torque acting on the suction cup) which makes it un-mount more frequently than the Rok2.

It's great to be able to quickly mount or unmount the phone when there's a call. Coming with multiple mounting options was nice. My wife has a Galaxy Note which is a huge and somewhat heavy phone, especially with a case on it. Using the large magnet underneath her hard case wasn't quite good enough, we had to put the magnet on the outside of the case, but now the phone sticks and is very solid in place. The large and the smaller magnet are both strong enough to where you don't have place the phone perfectly for it to stick and feel very solid in place. I've never hit a bump in the road that has caused the phone to drop.I've used the different mount options, but i like the one that can clip to your air vent b'c I can easily grab it and place it in someone else's car on the fly.

I had an older ROK2 with the fixed arm and the suction cup no longer would stay attached to my mounting circle after about 3 or so years in the car. Amazing difference in how sticky a new suction cup is! Old one was dry and had no tack at all, the new one is very tacky and much softer than the old one and sticks like it is glued on. I also like the adjustable pivot point in the arm as it lets me get my phone a little lower and closer to me.

The suction cup is the best thing since sliced bread. It holds your window, or dash (or face... w/e) with the strength of a thousand chimpanzees. And it doesn't leave any residue when you peel it off. Yes, you literally have to peel it off. I had to buy this because the suction cup on my old one ripped off the mount when trying to take it off the window after a few years in place.My only complaint on this is the angle of the ball to mount your dock. I'm not sure why they went with the offset ball. The arm articulates though, which makes this one nicer that V2. All in all, no complaints.

. I'm a truck driver and am constantly getting bounced around. Never have a problem with it coming loose. Make sure u loosened the tightening nut before u change it from portrait to landscape. I did this and it broke off. Learned a valuable lesson and replaced the mount and haven't any problems since.

I bought this as a replacement for my old ROK suction mount, because the suction cup finally disintegrated in the heat after several years.These work extremely well, but the adhesive is a little strong. I would prefer a pure suction mount, that doesn't leave a ring behind and is easier to remove. I put mine up and take it down quite often so that I can use a sun-shade when needed.

The sucker section of the iBolt systems is fantastic, but that does mean that eventually the sucker will tear.This is the obvious direct replacement.

Great replacement for my old iBolt.
