My 8 year old nieces absolutely adored this gift for their birthday - they had so much fun taking photos and having printed copies immediately!

The resolution and print quality are terrible, and the viewfinder and camera lens scratch quickly. BUT - this camera allows my six-year-old to take lots of photos without worrying about the cost of replacement film. A Polaroid is simply not cost-effective because they go through shots so quickly. I'm glad we went the print paper route, but hoping this technology improves soon.

The Instant Fun Camera is very aptly named, for it truly is instant fun. We bought this camera as a gift for our 5 year old son and he was absolutely thrilled at the sight of it, and has been using it for many months since receiving it with lasting enthusiasm. The digital pictures it captures are of decent quality should you want to print any of the pictures from a full color printer at higher resolution than the camera prints out. The printer on the camera itself is a thermal printer, like those that print receipts, so it is a grey scale image with image quality that you can expect from that type of printing. The kids love it, and will blow through an entire roll of the paper if left to their own devices, and I can't blame them... it's great fun seeing the pictures magically pop out of the front, and they just can't get enough of it. That brings me to what is perhaps the one thing I would change about this camera; the default setting of the printer is "ON" each time the camera is turned on. It must be manually turned to "OFF" each and every time the camera is powered on if you want to take pictures digitally only without printing every picture as they are taken, allowing you to later choose which to print. There is no way to change this setting's default upon powering up the camera, so it leads to a lot more printed pictures than parents might want. But the kids don't seem to mind that one bit. They enjoy using the printed images to color and make notes and use in crafts, and at the end of the day I love that it keeps them being creative and having (Instant) FUN!!

We have had this camera for almost a year and it is still a favorite! It is small but durable and can survive a drop on the floor. The picture quality is like that of a fax, but my kids (ages 2 & 4) still think it's pretty neat to instantly be able to hold a picture they took. We got them a scrapbook to put all the pictures in. I thought we would quickly run out of paper, but each roll lasts for quite a few pictures (I lost count!)Overall, it is a fun novelty camera, and good value for the price! I like playing with it too!

I bought this camera for my 4 year old niece who recently has been showing an interest in photography. Getting an instant photo camera like a Polaroid was too expensive, plus with the added cost for film refills was way more than I wanted to spend. Not to mention my niece would just be taking endless photos of random stuff that would just get tossed and that is wasteful on the environment.Then I found the Dragon Touch InstantFun Instant print camera for kids and was thrilled. It was exactly what I was hoping to find. The photos print instantly on recyclable paper using a cool technology that doesn't require ink so there is no need for ink refills ever. The rolls of paper last a decent time and the camera come with 5 extra rolls (which are very easy to install and swap out/refill).The settings took a round or two to understand and get used to, but it's pretty simple and the fun photo frame options and decorative elements filters add a lot of variety to the photos you can take. Each photo prints instantly (or you can opt out of this feature and print on command instead) at roughly 2"x3", similar to the popular Fujifilm Instax Mini size film, so you can easily find a mini photo album.The most fun thing is once the photo is printed, you can color on them! The camera even comes with some crayons. Since the photos print at B&W (and look slightly faded but I was fine with that), you can add more fun by coloring and personalizing each photo.Definitely recommend this product for kids who have a creative bone or two :) Enjoy!

It’s ok but the camera runs out of ink before you use the paper it comes with. It’s black and white poor picture quality. It’s for for young kids.

My 4 year old loves my Polaroid camera but those and the refill pictures are quite spendy. So I thought this would be a fun alternative and he loves it!! The paper is almost like receipt paper which is fine because he is 4 and doesn't take very good care of pictures anyway. The picture quality isn't amazing which is also fine, he just loves that it immediately prints. The paper is real cheap to replace which is awesome! Also cool that it comes with colored pencils and stickers to decorate his pictures. I also got the camera case that is recommended which is awesome to store all the stuff it came with and the extra rolls of paper along with keeping the camera safe while he isn't using it. I would recommend this!

I purchased this for my 9 year old for her birthday. Her and her 3 year old sister can't get enough of it! (I also find myself playing with it because of how fun and simple it is!) It's a great alternative to digital cameras. It allows you to instantly see your pictures and you can scrapbook or what ever with them! There is plenty of tape so I never have to worry about the kids getting bored! They love it! I love it! It's a win win all the way around!
