Fantastic Sunscreen with Jellyfish Protection!
I picked up the Safe Sea Jellyfish Sting-Blocking Sunscreen (SPF 50+, 4oz) for a beach trip, and wow, it totally delivered! We were heading to an area known for jellyfish, and I was nervous about stings, but this stuff worked like a charm and gave us peace of mind.First off, it’s a solid SPF 50+ sunscreen. It went on smoothly, not too greasy, and didn’t leave that gross white cast you get with some lotions. I used it on my face and body, and it held up great even after swimming—super waterproof, which is awesome for long beach days. My skin felt protected from the sun, and I didn’t burn at all, even after hours outside. Other reviews mentioned it’s great for sensitive skin, and I can see why; it didn’t irritate me or my kids at all.The real star, though, is the jellyfish and sea-lice protection. We were in the water a ton, and not a single sting, even though we saw some jellyfish nearby. I read that it’s clinically tested to block stings, and I’m convinced it saved us from a miserable day. It’s also coral reef-safe and biodegradable, which made me feel good about using it in the ocean. The 4oz bottle is a decent size—lasted our whole trip with multiple people using it.Only tiny downside is it’s a bit thicker than some sunscreens, so you have to rub it in well, but that’s no big deal for the protection you get. Some folks said it’s pricier than regular sunscreen, but I think it’s worth every penny for the sting-blocking feature alone. If you’re hitting the beach where jellyfish are a worry, this is a must-have. Already planning to grab another bottle for our next trip!

Worked great for me
After spending a few days in Rehoboth in the jellyfish infested waters, I'd say this works great. I did a bit of an experiment testing a couple of methods. I only put this lotion (heavy) on my legs from my knees to my ankles and went in the water just wearing my swim shorts. I got in and out of the water several times and swam as I normally would. I got stung on my back, sides, and arms multiple times. It generally wasn't that bad, just a minor annoyance other than one sting on my back which was more severe. But, not one single sting on my legs where I put the lotion, which is the most likely place to get stung. After a bit I came out and put on a rash guard shirt to try also. No more stings on my torso from then on.In the afternoon, I didn't reapply the lotion to my legs and went back in, stung multiple times within minutes, including once with jellyfish tentacles wrapped around my toes which was the most severe sting I took. Funny thing is that didn't bother me as much as stepping on one a few minutes later that was bigger than my foot. That was just weird, then the thought of a jellyfish bigger than my foot made me get out for a bit. I still went back in though. I wasn't going to let that ruin being in the ocean on vacation.I also put the lotion on one of my daughters who was brave enough to get in with me and she got stung twice, but even the 6 year old wasn't bothered enough to stay out.Couple of tips; buy more than you think you need. You need to put in on thick for it to work well. Just 2 of us using it, we went through almost a whole 4oz bottle in 1 day. Let it completely soak into you skin before going in the water. And, it says right on the bottle that it's only waterproof for about 80 minutes. Its efficacy starts to decline after an hour in the water. Make sure to reapply. The whole process is a bit of a PITA, but it works and will turn something that could be pretty painful into almost nothing at all.

Works well and protects our aquatic environment!
No problems with it. Did a good job of blocking the sun, didn't feel greasy and thick, and is a wonderful thing to help protect our aquatic environment!

Works well but messy
So this definitely prevents sea lice bites and that’s awesome. However just want to warn folks that it gets on evvveryyything it touches and is quite thick and sticky, so it can be a pain once it rubs off on your stuff. Be careful if you’re handling say a camera or your phone after applying. It’s hard to get off with just a wipe of your finger. Still definitely think it’s worth it though. Sea lice bites are not fun.

Must Have For The Beach
Bought this when I was planning my trip to the Bahamas because I heard it was jellyfish season. Definitely kept my family safe from the sun and jellyfish! It was not sticky and the sunscreen smell was pretty mild. Would recommend buying if you are planning to be out playing in the ocean!

Kept jellies away
It was very thick compared to the spray lotion I also purchased by the same brand. No one burned and complained about being stung. I’m giving three stars since we preferred the spray lotion.
