I bought this to use as a portable sinus rinse. I have major ongoing sinus issues and use sinus irrigation every day. I have both a Navage and a SinuPulse at home, both work great, and both are difficult to travel with.With Navage you have to take the pods with you which is difficult if traveling internationally for a long period of time (where you can't easily order more pods), or domestically without checked bags (since they are liquid you can only bring as many as you can fit in a quart bag along with other liquids).Sinupulse works great but is a hassle to travel with, it's more of a home unit and not that portable.This works great as a sinus rinse - I would have given it 5 stars but the sinus fitting is too small. It doesn't block off the entire nasal opening, so water just falls out of the same side that you've inserted it in your nose.However I put a Navage tip over the sinus tip it comes with, and it works perfectly, with the saltwater out of the other side of my nose. It feels similar to my Sinupulse. I use the normal setting and not the less powerful sinus setting on the device.Navage tips are sold for about $8 by themselves.Hopefully it lasts for a long time, I think it will.. since I am using it with filtered saltwater i rinse and run filtered freshwater through it after each use. It seems well put together, good materials.

The irrigator is great when it works, easy to assemble has great pressure and is portable for traveling. Battery also lasts a long time. However, the plastic nozzle develops a hairline crack in it and I've experienced that with two of two nozzles I've used.

I was looking for a replacement chargeable flosser because I was concerned about occurrence of mold on other brands I have used. On previous flossers, I was able to keep clean what appeared to be mold on areas visible to the eye but wasn't convinced about what I could not see, especially when I saw discoloration appearing on seamed areas of those flossers. When I came across Dr. Meter Travel Oral Irrigator Waterproof IPX7, it appeared to be sealed differently and I was confident it might be what I was looking for. It is definitely capable for everyday use not just travel. I am very satisfied with the adequate powerfulness and results I see when using Dr. Meter. A charge lasts me about 3 weeks and I use it 2 to 3 times a day.At one point after charging, I realized I lost the small protective piece that covers the prongs when I had last charged it--totally my fault. I contacted the third party seller for Amazon, Thousandshores Inc by email. I received an immediate response and provided them with information they requested. They acted on it immediately, and instead of sending me the small protective covering, they sent me a brand-new replacement Dr. Meter flosser. I was astounded to say the least.When I recently went for a dental cleaning and checkup, both the dentist and hygienist remarked on how good my teeth and gums looked. I gave Dr. Meter the credit. I was confident this product was going to continue to aid with the gum issues I have experienced for a lifetime.Thank you Thousandshores Inc. and Melody in the Customer Satisfaction Team. Very good. Has enough water pressure to do its job. Easy to clean especially the cup since it shaped like a real cup. Unlike other irrigators whose cups are shaped with various angles that are hard to clean. The charge stays strong for several days. The charging port also doesn’t get dirty because it does not get wet. Others the port is exposed and gets moldy. Only con is a lot of times it will not turn on with one push of the button it will take up to five or more but I can live with that. Had it for about a month.After more than a month. Found another flaw. The cup is completely sealed. As you’re using it. Negative pressure builds up in there such that the pump has to fight that too. You end up with less and less pressure at the tip until the tip pressure is not enough so you have to wait for the pressure to even out. You can’t even remove the cup because of the negative pressure. As a remedy I drilled a very small hole just below the max line of the cup. That worked. No more negative pressure and no weakening of the tip pressure.

I finally got a chance to use this product on a cruise. It was too bad the return window closed before I got a chance to try it out. What a waste of money! No matter how much we tightened any of the attachments, the thing squirted water everywhere. I use a water pik every day at home so know what to expect during use but this portable one was just way too messy. Ended up throwing it away.

It comes in a little travel box and it's got a few attachments. My issue is that the attachment doesn't screw into the body very well, which results in water spraying out sideways at the attachment point. This impacts the strength behind the water that's supposed to be flossing. :( I so wish it worked.
