25 M!nora BLADE Sampler DE Blades - made in Russia

I liked trying out the various brands to see which are my favorites. Feather makes great blades, but the Gillette have given me very good life as well. What I really like is that my skin quality has improved greatly since using double edge blades instead of my electric razor or the standard multiblade systems. I've had acne breakouts for most of the last 40 years, but it is significantly reduced using double edge blades and Body Shop facial care. I am very pleased.I'll probably settle on the Feather brand blades, but I am impressed with how long the Gillette blades are lasting. I shave about 3 times per week and have gone over two months on my Gillette blade and am about ready to change it.

I have used 6 or 7 different DE blades, and this pack helped me to confirm that the feather blades are just better blades. Having known that the feather blades are ridiculously sharp, I did wait to try them last so that I had a little bit of experience with DE shaving before slicing my face open. It did still cut me, but I'm sure it could have been a lot worse than it was. I would also recommend that you get some of the Gillette 7 o'clock super platinum blades as they have ended up being my favorite (just a tad less sharp than the feather but makes them much more usable to some one that inevitably has to push a little bit with my super coarse beard hair.

I've already tried all these blades and they all have a different feel. I've even ranked them for the Ideal Safety shaver.1st place- Feather blades: Japan The more costly blades, but definitely worth the $, very sharp and smooth on the face.2nd place- Gillette blades: Russia Std. blades with an overall great cut on the face.3rd place- Blue Bird: Turkey These are ok, but they are a bit harsh in my opinion. Even Derby blades are better than these.

The Feathers are a fantastic blade, with incredible sharpness that I regularly use in my Merkur 33c, which is a fairly mild razor. The Gillette 7o'clock green is a tremendous moderate blade that works exceptionally well in my 1940's Gillette Super Speed. These 2 combinations provide clean and comfortable head shaves every day.I still haven't used the BlueBirds...

Loved the Feathers and 7 o'clock. I tried the bluebirds once and they pulled so badly I couldn't finish my shave. Worth trying though maybe they will fit your shaving style.
