I was looking to enhance my older non smart TV that did not have DLNA streaming to it. This product does that and more. Great video quality on streaming my Cell phone videos, Pictures, and Everything else. Took a little knowledge to get it setup for phone viewing but not allot. My DLNA server found the device with no problem. Make sure you follow directions about everything being on the same network. A great tool at an absolutely fantastic price. This is a must have for non smart TV's and a spare HDMI port. You will need you own USB power adapter 5v 1amp same as most older phone chargers.

first impressions very cool sitting in my Great Room projrcting my HP laptop to my 55 " LG TV with audio. virtually 0 lag for videod maybe a tad not enough for concern. so far luv it took about 1.5 hours to set up due to mimimal/quirky directions. TV and Laptop about 4 years old - I can stream videos from local NAS U tube etc Can aslso work with presntaions,spreadsheets ,docss etc on huge screeen so far very pleased Have not configured for the Droid yet but do not expect any issues:)

I used to have a cable to connect my mobile phone to a TV, but there are many disadvantages to using a cable. First of all, the cables are too short. When they are connected, it is very inconvenient. Secondly, there are too many cables at home, which are very messy.This product is wireless and very convenient to use without the annoying problems. Moreover, you don't need an app to use it, you just need to set it up and use it. And the connection is very stable and the picture quality is very clear, I am very satisfied.

I have several different devices I use to cast my phone to my TV. This one seems to lose connection a lot with my phone and restart often. I have it plugged in correctly and have moved it to other TVs in the home. Does the same thing. Would not suggest purchasing if you are looking for a long stream process (more than 45 minutes to an hour) or you may lose your connection.

It was a snap to connect my Android tablet and it works great! Took a little longer to get our iPhones and an iPad connected but once we got it, it worked great! I connected my Android tablet without instructions but instructions for iPhones and iPad actually caused more confusion. So I went back to my intuition and got it done!

Instructions vague, probably (poorly) written by a person using google translate. Drops out of wifi frequently, does not link to either Amazon Prime Video or Hulu. Tech support never answered. After repeated efforts, I gave up. I plan to use my purchased protection agreement to get a refund when/if they ever answer their telephone.

I thought i could mirror my computer, but it doesnt work for all platforms with my macbook. What fails is: hulu and kanopy. What works: netflix. Picture quality of netflix is good, no lag or pixelated screen. I will unfortunately return bc i wanted to cast hulu. The item description does warn that it cannot cast hulu.

It syncs great with your laptop BUT if you use mouse and try to control it on TV, it i sa almost impossible to control it. Every movement you do with your mouse lags 3 seconds. Also, it doesn't connect automatically after disconnecting it initially.
