It’s not often that I’ll take the time to write a review on products I purchase, because I purchase a lot and don’t want to spend my day writing reviews. However, when a product like this comes along and stops me in my tracks in the form of quality, flavor and simplicity, I have to say something about it. I LOVE BLOODY MARY’S, shall I say it again, I LOVE BLOODY MARY’S! I make them often and when I find a recipe, I don’t deviate because I’m not going to waste my time trying something when, I already know what I like and how I like it.I’ve been using my same recipe for years but, I saw this product and the name “Elixir,” packaging and simplicity of use, has been gnawing at my curiosity forever. Especially, because I live on the Central Coast where this is from.Let me start by telling you why I have avoided it, in case the company is curious and reads this review. I personally had avoided it because of pricing. I realized that I would have to purchase the elixir plus a tomato juice which just becomes an added expense, compared to just purchasing a mix that has both. After trying this product I was reminded, you can’t put a price on quality!After trying this product, I now realize, the price is completely and totally reasonable!!! It takes very little Elixir to make several batches! I like to mix mine as follows... 2 cups Clamato Picante juice, one to one and a half cups Tito’s Vodka (I prefer 1-1/2 cups myself) and 4 Tablespoons of Elixir. That’s right, just 4 tablespoons is all it takes and you have plenty of mix for 2-4 people. The result is a blend of spices that find every taste bud in your mouth and wake them up from hibernation. Ok, that was a little over the top but seriously, let me tell you about the Elixir....If you love Bloody Mary’s and you already have your go to mix, STOP what you’re doing and try this product out. I know I’m just an average guy writing a review, but I’m also a damn proud Bloody Mary drinker! This is DELICIOUS! I even made it for my Vegas bartender brother in law, and he too, was blown away. My wife is even laughing at me right now because she herself, can’t even believe I’m writing this lengthy review, but I’m telling you, “It’s that good!”Do yourself a favor buy just one bottle, see for yourself. I could tell you the flavor is bold, with the perfect spice. It has aromas that you can smell, not just taste. This is a thick hearty mix that gives a rich color. You can literally taste the freshness of its ingredients. My mouth is watering, just thinking about it.However, none of what I say matters unless you try it for yourself. While you’re at it, pick up a jar of any one of the many pickled products they sell. They are amazing!!! Again, quality, quality, quality is what you get from this company. Right down to their customer service notice included in the box of three bottles I purchased. They say it themselves, “if you don’t like it, send it back for a full refund.”Pacific Pickleworks made a loyal customer out of me! Great mixer! I love the slight heat and the spices. I mix with V8 Original instead of tomato juice. I put a pickled okra, queen olives, and grape/cherry tomatoes on a skewer, add a dash of salt and that finishes it up for me.Seriously, it is easy to mix, vodka, mix, and juice. Even my husband can do it. 😉 It ships quick and tastes good. What more can you ask? I'm anxious to try some of their other products.

So good with Vodka. On the spicy side but I add an extra tomato juice to the mixture. And it’s perfect for my taste 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

So certainly, the best or worst Bloody Mary is a personal choice. I find this one pretty good, but not the best. I did mix this with V8 and not tomato juice, to be fair. I will try tomato.So its a bit spicy, which isn't bad, but I don't taste the full flavor I like. A bit like some hot sauces are very hot but not very flavorful. Adding some Worcestershire sauce does seem to help here. Maybe a pinch of salt as well. Also wish it was a bit stronger. If I don't add vodka (virgin Bloody Mary) its about right, but with vodka, slightly weak.So I would say its 85% there, but its that last 15% that can really matter.

I love this elixir

This is the best bloody mary mix. I usually order from Fustino’s directly. This package was delivered busted- dissappointed as it is a pricy mix and no way to contact seller directly or make a return through amazon. This package was shipped in a box with other items and should have been placed in a box with peanuts as the brine I also ordered came to me the day before. I am hoping the company will make it right.

I use the Bloody Mary Elixir to make Bloody Mary's. I always use V8 Low Sodium and like to add olives, pickle spears, cheese cubes or whatever I have available as a little surprise to eat when you are drinking the drink. Absolutely delicious. I have made this drink for several friends and family members and it is always a hit. I suggest you start with the recommended ratio of elixir to tomato juice, then add more to your taste. Once you find your preferred ration this Bloody Mary elixir can't be beat! I have also added this to homemade vegetable soup as a flavor booster. Excellent!
