The product is very sturdy and has held up well. Is made from real leather and not a leather substitute. Cool and unique toiletry bag. Great for traveling with a fairly large storage place that can hold a variety of items. Makes for a great gift for college students or frequent travelers.

This is my second purchase from KomalC. The first was a gift for my dad in the color distressed tan. We were all so satisfied and impressed by it that I finally purchased one for myself to have a father-son matching moment. This Dopp kit is utterly breathtaking and beautiful! Someone else said it has that old money look to it, and I strongly agree with that notion. The fact that it’s handmade blows me away because the attention to detail is astounding—a machine wouldn’t have been able to make it nearly as stunning. The stitch work, the distressed tanned leather, the brass ZIPPERS- sturdy, heavy duty, smooth as butter. The beautiful color of the Chicago buffalo in real life is perfect, just like the photos. The brass feet are also a practical AND aesthetic addition to the Dopp kit. The bag arrived thoughtfully placed inside of a vintage dust bag, along with thorough and specific care instructions for the leather to get the utmost use out of it. This craftsman cares and it shows— and it’s eco friendly too: buy it nice once and have it for a lifetime. My only critique would be the actual shipping packaging, I wish it came inside of a standard amazon box instead of a plastic shipping bag. The delivery person through it down some stairs and I was upset at how they treated my new bag. If it was in a box, I wouldn’t have been as worried. None the less, the bag is tough and it did not arrive with any imperfections whatsoever. I’ve attached photos for those, who like me, are looking for more customer pics of the Chicago buffalo color. Get it, it’s worth every penny especially given the fantastic price. It’s quite honestly such a steal, I’m still shook tbh.

Great form, shape, color, and feel. The zippers are of high quality and pull almost frictionlessly. Dust cover is a really nice touch. Really nice to see local crafts created with this much passion.

The bag is well made with solid stitching and quality liner. The zippers, while not YKK, seem to be more than adequate for the job, the magnetic flap closes firmly, and the supple leather has a beautiful distressed look.Speaking of leather… when the bag first arrived, it was creased and crushed, courtesy of the warehouse. The leather itself was very dry and needed to be oiled, at least in my opinion. This presented an opportunity to address both issues with one solution. I stuffed the bag with a bath towel to make it fully expand into its original shape and wiped it heavily with some Otter Wax oil I use on my aniline leather furniture. What a difference. If you’re familiar with leather care, you know that oil will initially darken the leather, but it will return to the original color in a few hours, once the oil is fully absorbed. Well, this wasn’t quite the case here, and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. Initially, the color was that of mustard. I liked it, sure, but it seemed a bit bright. Once I applied the oil, it turned dark brown, but within a couple of hours it returned to a halfway point between brown and mustard, like peanut butter, and remains this way now. The oil also allowed the leather to return to the intended shape and keep it.This is a great way to obtain a classy, durable, handmade piece of kit for an excellent price. If you need a Dopp kit and don’t care for individual organization (which I do not, as it inevitably eats up valuable space,) don’t think twice about it and just do it. :)

The bag arrived well packed and looks just as advertised. Attractive. It looks to b well made and if it lasts it will earn 5 stars. It's a simple bag w one main compartment. Fine for a toiletry bag if u like to dump everything into one area, I prefer more organizing ability in my toiletry bag. I got this as a shoe shine bag and it's perfect for that: holds 2 small brushes, a standard buffing brush, buffing and application cloths, and a few tins of polish with room to spare. The pockets are not deep so they hold my buffing/application cloths. The leather is stiff enough to hold its shape and stand straight on a shelf.

This is by far the best gift I’ve ever purchased for my husband! The smell of the leather, the one look, the inside zipper pocket, and a magnet latching makes this shaving kit worthwhile. The feel of the leather is unlike any other shaving kit I’ve seen on the market, a very well-made product.

These are SO NICE and worked great as gifts for our guy friends.

The buffalo leather is buttery soft, the colour is rich and so far hasn’t transferred or bled, spacious and sturdy.My partner instantly fell in love with this Dopp kit even though it wasn’t even on his wishlist. One of the best surprise gifts I’ve gotten for his so far!

Beautiful leather toiletry bag, and a good value for its price. Nice color, nice texture, nice mild leather smell, very nice craftsmanship. Very suitable for small toiletries like razor, travel size shampoo/conditioner/lotion, hair brush, deodorant, toothpaste. The narrow piece of leather that connects the two main zippers seems a bit thin, so I can see that potentially tearing if one pulls it with full force to simultaneously open the zippers.
