Rite in the RainWeatherproof 1/2" Ring Binder, 5.625" x 7.875", Tan Binder (No. 9200T)

This is quite durable and easy to take around due to its small size. Due to ring binders it is easy to remove or add paper. I use this daily at work.

I still use these year of year even after completely going digital for most notes. I find when I’m out in the woods this and right in the rain paper are invaluable for Amateur Radio operations, and just capturing my thoughts.

This binder holds Rite in the Rain pages perfectly. The rings hold tightly, pages turn smoothly, and the cover is thick enough that it provides a sturdy surface so that you can stand up and write without leaning against a writing surface -- it becomes your writing surface -- unlike other poly binders that flop.I appreciate the extras inside the binder: a 7" ruler along the inside front cover, an 18 cm ruler on the inside back cover, US to metric conversions, linear measurements, and a handy sleeve pocket on the inside back cover for loose items like index cards.The reason I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel that it would be absolutely perfect if it had an elastic bungee cord with a pencil holder to wrap around and keep it securely closed.

I got this to replace the 6 ring insert for my zippered case from rite in the rain and it fits perfectly. The rings are not huge, but it serves my purpose just fine!

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas 202. She said it works good and came in handy.

I saw a review saying Munsell would fit so I went for it. I replaced the gigantic Munsell binder with this more handy-sized version and it is awesome! It is a little bit of a tight squeeze to get all of the pages in there, but it is totally useable -I will probably remove the not-so-useful gley and grain pages I don't need for my work anyway.

The binder material is thick (0.055"), sturdy and very stiff, so makes for good writing support.The metal 6-ring center is bound to the binder with two rivets, about 5/8" from each end. I bought for use as a recipe book. The binder is part of a system with the paper which are weather resistant. The 3/16" diameter holes in the paper are center to center 3/4" apart, save the 'center' holes which are 2" apart.

I have been working in Forestry for a while and having a good field book is key.

This is designed for use in all weathers. The covers are hard, providing a firm base on which to write. The binder is slim, so will not take up much room in a rucksack or a cargo pants pocket. Good kit.

As with most RITR products, its built for the real world. I use it daily. Seems tough enough that it will last for years. Has a nice template pocket as well as some scales.
