Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Ristretto Roast & Ground Coffee in Nespresso compatible compostable capsules, 50 capsules (5x10)

The capsules turned up and seemed to fit okay; however a ‘long shot’ resulted in about a short shots worth of coffee. So I pressed again, and more came out... but water was suddenly coming out from the bottom of the machine!Looking at the water tank, each shot was taking the right amount of water, but only some was passing through the pod with the rest running down into the little waste container. From a long shot, this filled between half and three quarters with each shot! This makes them pretty useless and very wasteful, as all that water is being heated.The capsules also claim compostability, but no instruction whether this is home or industrial composting only. Frankly, they seem to be thick plastic!As an afterthought, the coffee is okay. Inoffensive really.

These are amazing value if you like a mild subtle coffee taste. I tend to buy the kazaar from nespresso and have gone back to them as theses can’t compare. it took three of these to get even a taste of coffee in a latte, so not for people who like a bold strong coffee.

Arrived well packaged with no spillage. Good value for money but the flavour is quite weak,hardly any coffee smelling aroma whilst the coffee machine dispersed the pod. I'd say the coffee tastes more like instant coffee than a Nespresso machine coffee. I wouldn't purchase again but will use them.

Can't fault the value, good amount of pods for the price. But to me that taste like thoroughly average filter coffee. Would not recommend.

Great coffee. On par with the Nespresso capsules imo.They can be a little messy and leak coffee grounds rarely.I love that these can be easily recycled.

Bought as part on an ongoing attempt to find something with Nespresso flavour but not at the Nespresso price, and preferably with a better environmental profile.This is NOT that product.Unsure how this has got such relatively rave reviews - we found the coffee was weak and unpleasant. I had to use two pods on ristretto settling just to get some kind of flavour. And that flavour was still massively inferior to Nespresso.As for environmental profile, the non recycleable metal used packaging seems unnecessary (in that other compostable pods don’t use it), although it was inadvertently useful since there was at least one leaking pod inside every pack (cue much cleaning up of gritty grains each time one was opened).Have since found Lakeland Ltd Nespresso compatible pods to be far superior to these in every regard.

These are a bit stronger than the other compostable brands I have tried which all tend to be a bit weak. For the price you can’t argue.

Great value nespresso capsules. Individually wrapped so there is a lot of excess packaging.
