a junk product and a scam company..DO NOT PURCHASE through this company
If this item is needed, go with the OM part, not this one. The OM will be made of higher tensile plastic. This one here is worthless soft plastic.I was very careful trying to use this item. I only needed one.. But all 4 of them were worthless. The plastic is too soft to hold the connecting rod, even more important is the diameter of the opening that wraps around the rod is too small for the connecting rod in question. So...they DO NOT fit a 2004 Chevy Avalanche as the description says. If the diameter was the correct specifications they might work temporarily...but really, as an aside, what a stupid piece of engineering to use in a truck latch situation.I will look for the OM part, probably at a ridiculous price but...it is not worth the time to try and fit these ones.OH and by the way. The first order never arrived and so they sent out another order after 45 minutes on chat to someone who could not read English...and now they want to charge me for the second order when the first never arrived. Absolutely pathetic customer service on Amazons part.
