Easy to install. The carb jets were pre-set as I did not have to adjust carb at all. Pulled cord twice, trimmer fired right up. Running great. I will say the top-fuel inlet on the carb was installed by the factory at a straight down angle as opposed to being slightly off-set to allow for the plastic filter cover to fit back on easily. I did not want to force the inlet into an angle using pliers as I was afraid that it may not seal back up properly. I simply clipped off a small portion on the plastic filer cover to allow room for it to close properly.

Ordered this and it was delivered in 1 day with prime. Has 2 bulbs and not 1. Fits my 4 yr. old FS38 perfectly. Changed out bulb, air filter and plug. Gas filter was new so that will be a spare. Started right up. Plug gap looked good right out of carton. Thumbs up. I am not a mechanic but have some skills. Parts were easy to change. I also changed gas to a no ethanol type for a cleaner burn. Time will tell.

I bought for the thumb primer bulb; nice you get two. Since I’d never changed the fuel or air filter I watched a YouTube on my Stihl Weedeater & in less than 15 minutes, I was completely done, including the new spark plug. Very simple repairs! It now starts on the first pull just like when it was new. This kit was perfect! Great purchase!

I didn't the the original filter was in that bad of shape after cleaning it out, but this filter made a huge difference in starting the trimmer up quickly.

I worried that I would not be able toInstall this replacement, but it was a snap!

Kit was a good price and easy to install. Was having problems before where I could not start my Stihl trimmer but ran after installed.Good buy
