This a security camera that has some good and poor qualities but is overall a good value for what I need.PROS:-Easy to set up.-Picture quality is good.-VIA iPhone you can log into the camera from anywhere you have cell coverage.-Sound it good but you can either talk or you can listen but not both at the same time.-works with Alex maybe... I don't have one but I'm confident it would work with it.I bought this camera to replace an 11year old FOSCAM which was in indoor camera I was using outdoors and so my cons are a reflecting the things I have lost but.. sometimes you get what you pay for.CONS:-The range is not great. 60 feet from the router was too far. Does work fine at about 30 - 40 feet.-The camera is in a fixed position and although it can be moved you must do so manually.-The sensitivity for motion is way to high at even the lowest setting. I had to turned off the alarm because it would go off constantly for no reason.-The quick-operation Manual print is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it.-night vision doesn't really workThis camera lets' me watch my front door when I'm expecting someone but if you're looking for a true security camera that will notify you when there is motion then you need to look at other options.

I have been looking for a while for a camera to install around the house. This was the perfect camera from my front door. My door has a feature where i can open from anywhere using my smart phone and this camera is the perfect combination to go with that as i can see who is in my front door and i can unlock it from there. The camera will push notifications to my phone when it sensor someone and i can just unlock my door. Also, if the camera catches someone on its sensor it will turn on a little light and it is perfect if a intruder is trying to invade so it will give a better picture and maybe scare him or her away. The light on the camera also helps me when i am getting late home and it is dark outside since it lights up my front porch. The camera also have a mic where you are able to talk to anyone who is near the camera. This is perfect to let someone outside that you are not home or for any other reason. The alexa feature i was not able to use it yet as i do not own a alexa device, but i guess it will be simpler to control it via alexa. My current position is around IT and I cannot believe a camera being sold for so cheap has a good technology behind storing the content to a cloud server as well as the supporting app to the camera. This was well developed and it is worth every penny. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and all the additional features associated to this security camera. This was definitely one of my best purchases this year.

I use this camera for indoor monitoring, so I have not tested its durability in extreme conditions. But as for features and the product quality, I am very happy with it. The most important feature for me is that it can save to SD card or cloud the motion sensor events (which is a decent motion sensor and does not false alert as many other cameras of this type). Also night vision and the image quality is really impressive, I don't think any better would make any sense. Ease of setup, comfortable to use, overall very good product.

I swapped the 3db antenna for a 7db antenna (and added a reflector), added some dielectric grease to all the connections, and ran this outback with an extension cord. I use it to watch for wildlife in the backyard, and if needed I could also add a directional reflector for the antenna, but the 89-97% signal is good for my needs. I am considering getting one for at the farm, and that one would require a reflector to reach about 75ft on the wifi, but that is attainable with a better antenna, and some minor external modifications to mount it. I would love to see it play through google cast, but I do not have a Nest system, so I am using google chrome and casting my screen at this time. I also added a 12V 7W heating element, as it does not seem to like cooler temps, the heater coupled with a couple of beer cozies seem to be doing much better. I also ordered a second one, to increase my viewing angle.

I have been trying to get this camera to work wireless but with no luck. I can connect it with cat5 cable to the router and it works fine. But this is now what I want. I will keep trying for a few more days and see if someone will contact me. But as of now, it does not work wireless. I will come back later and do an update if anything changes. OK, I changed my rating to 4 stars. I was able to set up the camera as wireless. I removed the app then reinstall it and everything fell into place. Not sure about using the memory card, I had to use the cloud storage to review anything. I would give it a 5 star if I can get it to work with the SD card.

Despite trouble with installation (had to repeat it bunch of times before figuring out phone had to be within 2' of cam), I initially loved this cam.Image quality is great. Motion detection is sensitive but wasn't a problem once I angled so no blowing tree branched were within view.Unfortunately, 16hrs after install I found the cam had quit working. Couldn't connect to network. I reset and reinstalled about 20 times. About 1/2 the time the app would connect again but as soon as the motion light shut off, the app feed stopped and I'd have to start from scratch again. May be a faulty antenna... it came apart at one point.NOTE: Vid can NOT be downloaded from Cloud. I recommend the 30day trial to see if your cam works. If it does, switch to a memory card!!I've spent hours trying to restore connectivity. RETURNING.
