LARRY LEVINE Women's 3/4 Diamond Quilted with Bib and Ff Trimmed Hood

I have bought the black version of this jacket some 3-4 years ago (probably at TJ Maxx) and I still wear it. Now I've got the pewter (dark steely grey). It's one of the few warm jackets that don't make someone feel like a stuffed sausage. The quilting pattern is diamond and it has got some other nice details: slimmer sides, adjustable waist, knitted cuffs and a bib. I'm not crazy about the faux fur on the hood, but it can be unzipped from the hood easily, which I did right away. The pockets are lined with fleece. All these details make the jacket look much more stylish and expensive than the price tag. It runs large: I'm 5.4, 124 lb and have broad shoulders. In sweaters, I go for an M. In this jacket, the S fits me perfectly, with a generous sweater underneath.Update: After wearing the jacket for about 4-5 times, one of the front fasteners broke and detached from the jacket, leaving me with a hole right in front, at the waistline. I certainly don't abuse my clothes and therefore expect them to last at least a couple of seasons. I really liked this style of jacket - have been wearing the black version for around 3-4 winters now - but the quality of the product has diminished considerably. Bummer.

I would recommend this coat to others. It zips from about the top of my legs to my chin providing a barrier against cold air coming up from the bottom of the coat. It also has snaps the entire length of the coat. There are fitted cuffs inside the sleeves to help keep cold air out. The coat is well made. I chose the plum color and have received many compliments. It was 10 degrees this morning and I was comfortably warm while out running errands.

OMG, I love, love, love, this coat. I bought it for my trip to Europe in March and never took it off. I was in a mini skirt (with pantyhose) on a bicycle and NEVER cold! The inner zipper is halfway so your legs are free to move. Brilliant! It is a flattering coat with a great hood with zip-off faux fur border. Cannot praise it enough. Great pockets, adjustable back strap to make it more tailored looking. All in all, this is my buy of the year. Fantastic price, real down feathers, just super! Very, very happy with it.

The color is brilliant! A beautiful aubergine with matching fur on hood. I get a lot of compliments but I feel like I'm wearing a "Mom coat"....Not that there's anything wrong with that but I was hoping for something a little less bulky. Unlike, lightweight puffer coats, this coat is much heavier and harder to move around in. It's also no warmer than warmer than a puffer jacket. I will keep it but I'm finding I'm wearing it much less than my puffer from JCP.

I LOVE this COAT..it's got it all.. and the hood stays nice with low fur/fake but nice looking.. Would highly recommend!I wear sweaters over tops so this fits great.... made nice just really happy with the entire coat and style!

This coat is just OK. Runs large. The hood is stiff and sits on my shoulders like a Tudor ruff (look it up). The coat itself is thinner than I expected. Otherwise, the quilted pattern, cuffed sleeves and side panels are nice.

Beautiful color. The sleeves are long enough for me and the body of the coat will allow me to wear a heavy sweater when it is really cold. The length is perfect and again will keep me warmer than a shorter "car coat".

I wear a medium in most all tops and the medium fit great! The coat came with a small hole in the pocket but I'll just sew it up quick. Nice and warm and looks great on.
