Girls' Heavy-Weight Hooded Puffer Jackets

My 7 year old daughter and i are both very happy with this coat. The material and construction are good quality. Attention to detail is great:-sleeve interior is slippery fabric, which is nice for kids!-thumb holes in sleeves-Fleecy interior of coat and the zip up pockets makes this jacket cozy.-Extra long in the back keeps the bum warm and dry.-Zip guard at neck really pleases my daughter's chin and the hood goes up without choking her while fully zipped!-there is an interior slip proof belt to keep out snow and keep the jacket in place over snowpants...Everything about this jacket is great except for three things:1. No color choices. Only came in navy with pink interior.2. Amazon does not treat its employees well or pay well and i have to wonder about the ethics of this garment.3. Amazon paid no taxes last year on their profits, which also harm the ethics of this garment.Anyone concerned with economic stability should think long and hard before buying amazon essentials products. How can they offer this fine of a product for this great price without compromising their employees well being and our economic stability?

Goodness. An Amazon brand - no way I expected this high of a quality jacket! I was going back and forth between Carters, north face and this and decided to get it and was ready to return if I don’t like it. My toddler loved it, the quality is superb, it’s super warm! The colors/sizing is just right. I got a 4T for my 3-year old, as she’s a girl that runs in a 98 percentile on height, weight, etc. and it fit her right on. Bottom line - you won’t be disappointed.

Okay for a fall or spring jacket. Not very thick. Fleece not in sleeves. No worth the $50.

This coat is fantastic. I’m so impressed for the price, especially considering it isn’t a big name brand. This coat is warm enough for a freezing Michigan winter day, has a snow guard and thumb holes! And best of all, the zipper is smooth and so easy for my 5 year old to do on her own. Love this coat!

This was perfect for my 6 year old. She is normally a 6x but we got a 7 and it was perfect to wear over other winter attire

Got an xsmall for my 4 yr old (42", 35lbs). Fits perfect with room to grow. She LOVES this jacket. Kept her warm on a cold day on the water. Sleeves are great with the thumb holes, covers her bum, & has a snow skirt. Bought one for my son as well. Definitely recommend

This coat is really nice! The padding is not too puffy or heavy. So far, so good for our snow days in Colorado or just the days where it’s too cold for just a jacket. We bought the XL and it fits my 5’ tall ,lean ten year old really well. It sits right under her waist, so length is good. My only complaint is that the snap belt on the inside is too large to fit her small frame rendering that feature useless; not a big deal for us because I didn’t figure she would take the time to snap it anyway.

This is a nice winter jacket. My daughter said that it keeps her warm in the cold weather, and even though it is a "puffy" jacket, she said she has no problem swinging on the monkey bars or climbing up trees. She also likes the zipper guard feature located at the top of the zipper because it protects her neck and under her chin from getting scratched by the zipper handle. The hood offers nice coverage and stays on even in windy conditions. This jacket also goes well with the Amazon Basics snowpants. The jacket is true to size, but if you want to size up one size (like we did), the jacket will still fit all right, especially because it is quite "puffy," so it doesn't look quite as big as thinner jackets might.The jacket tends to dry quickly EXCEPT for the cuffs. This is why I took off one star. The cuffs are absolutely awful! I think the designer(s) thought they were adding a modern and "cool" feature to the jacket by making cuffs that resemble the cuff design of the thin, stretchy long-sleeve shirts with the thumb holes. Unfortunately, this "cool" feature does not dry quickly (like the rest of the jacket), so when my kiddo plays outside in the snow, the cuffs are soaking wet for hours afterwards. I wish they had made the cuffs out of the same quick-dry nylon fabric as the rest of the outside of the jacket. Even with this flaw, I would still recommend this jacket.

I read the reviews carefully on this coat as my daughter needed a new school coat (before lockdown was announced!). I compared prices at placed like matalan, asda george etc and this was cheaper and had more features. Even when I zipped it up my daughter flinched and said “not all the way, it hurts my neck” as she is so used to being pinched by other coats. This one has a handy zip guard, there is a belt inside to close the coat to the body and although we dont have much snow, it stops cold air rushing up the longer length. She loves the thumb holes, being able to keep the sleeves snug even with gloves on and the slippy lining in the sleeves allows her to get it on even with bulky layers on. The coat itself is fleece lined and showerproof outing so WOULD get wet in a downpour like any other puffer jacket type. The only thing that is a misgiving is the plastic zip. Im interested to see how this holds up. But for the price it was far better than other standard school coats in terms of suitability. Thank you.

Bought this coat for my 3 year old GranddaughterShe loves it especially the thumb holes in the cuff. Really well made with lovely pink lining and a couple of buttons inside to keep the cold out.Really pleased with it. She is 3 years 5 months, I bought a 4 year old, I wouldn’t say there was a lot of growing room in it but it fits great and will see her over the winter.
