BadenContender Indoor/Outdoor Composite Basketball

For outside play, likely great.
I suppose for an indoor/outdoor this is probably fine. I've used it almost exclusively on indoor wood floors and I find it to have what I'll call a "cheap bounce". The surface of the ball itself feels great but it comes off the floor like cheap plastic and while I think I've gauged the proper psi for the ball it's not particularly responsive off the bounce. Were I to make a similar purchase I'd probably spend the additional dollars and upgrade away from the synthetic/composite into a leather ball.UPDATE:After six months of indoor use (wood floors only) the ball now appears to be slightly lopsided. Makes me wonder if these were seconds. Sometimes this happens when a ball is sat on or kicked but I'm a coach of 30 years and I treat my basketball like my offspring. I'd be more likely to try a Spalding or Wilson for my next purchase.

Nice.. unless the panels become unglued
This is a nice feeling indoor ball for not much money.but for whatever reason the edges of the panels on mine lost adhesion and starting coming off around the seams. This could possibly have happened from leaving the ball in car during winter or maybe letting it become deflated, I’m not exactly sure. Either way I wouldn’t call this a durable ball.If anyone knows they best kind of glue to use to repair this, let me know.. The ball is still useable (I use some electrical tape in a few places) but it needs a replacement. So if you get this ball, just make sure you keep it at the right pressure and be mindful of leaving it in the cold.

Great Outdoor Ball
My kid loves it. It's well made, and for outdoor ball standards, it's really nice. I don't play outside much, so never really had a need for a good outdoor ball, but I will say that the ball you play with MATTERS. Get a good one and don't cheap out. This is a good ball, and comes in some cool colors. I recommend it.

Excellent ball for paved court environment -- the ball is now retired, but performed as expected over several hard use seasons. No complaints.

Great feel, not so durable
The ball has a great feel for an outside basketball but it only lasted 2 days before the cover started to peel from one corner. Not worth returning on my dime so I'm going to try to glue it down and play on.

Ball is great.
Great ball. It is a really good value. Maybe not as soft as an evolution but for the price it’s better than other indoor/outdoor balls.

Good ball
Very good ball. Bought to replace an older Baden outdoor ball. Composite material does pick up marks more then previous one did

this ball has a really nice cover - great feel and bounce
this ball has a really nice cover - great feel and bounce. My only complaint would be that the cover wears kind of fast if you use it outdoors. However, i think to get this kind of feel you probably need to make some compromises in how tough the cover is.

Great quality, good grip and feel.
Baden basketballs are good quality and very underrated. Ball holds up well and keeps from deflating just as well as any Spalding or Wilson I've used.
