Very Warm, but maybe Order Up One Size
I rarely order online because of fit. I gave the product "fit as expected" at the ordered one-size-up size which is a size 10 from size 9. Let me explain: I'm 5'6" at 163lbs. My feet are a tiny bit on the wide side with a low arch. I ordered both a 9.5 and a 10 at the same time. My normal size is 9. Knowing that I would want to where a wicking sock + a wool sock OR 1 super thick pair of thermal socks I thought the 9.5 (half-size up) would work. After wearing around the house, I noticed the 9.5 was making my feet slightly tingle/numb, particularily around the area where the rubber meets the leather on top of the foot and an area that I knew might not "stretch" over time. Plus, because of the thickness of the sock, my toe felt closer to the boot toe end. The 10 had a comfortable bit of room even after the 2 socks or 1 thick sock was added and did not make my feet tingle/numb. Even though they may look just a tad bigger then I am used to, I decided comfort was best in this case. They are on the heavy side for a snow boot (expected for rubber, leather, and felt) , but I am hippy with toned calves so I considered the extra weight a bit of exercise as I walk! The Honest Beige color is a beautiful soft yet warm camel color (fawn-like), not a dark camel. The inner felt is SO warm and cozy, even with a thin pair of socks. The laces are a breeze to tighten and loosen as they slide on the metal grommets though I don't suspect they are waterproof laces. The fur was a little flat when they arrived but just needed fluffed. The rubber is a very, very dark navy I think, almost so that it looks black. The tread will be nice for snowy walking but I did slide a bit on the ice on my driveway since the lug is rubber and not very deep like a hiking boot might be.

They are all that!
I spied these boots, but couldn’t pull the trigger because they are so expensive and I live in Tennessee and was having a hard time justifying the purchase. My husband was placing an order on my account and ordered them for me for Valentines. I was worried about the mixed reviews about fit and size. I ordered my regular size 7.5. They are perfect! The ankle/heel area is a bit roomy, but these are not dress boots! I’m sure that’s designed for thicker socks. So, Ladies, if you’re expecting functional and stylish…this is it. If you want a dress boot that fits close to your ankles, better look elsewhere. This was a good price, so that helped. Only CON - took 10 days to arrive! They shipped from Poland, traveled to Germany, the UK, Atlanta, then Nashville. They were worth the wait!

Great for winter in the Midwest!
These boots are very warm even our -20 degree winter!! They are comfortable, love that the lining stays put! They a bit heavy but not enough to not love them! They’ve held up all winter, lots of shoveling and outside activities! Sorel is definitely a great brand!

Nice & toasty
Nice & toasty, easy to lace up and comfortable. The only issue is they can be hard to slip your ankle all the way down and there's nothing to grasp on the boot to help with that. The loops at the tops on either side of the boot are not good for this purpose because they snap, (they're there to hold in the removable boot liner), so if you use them for leverage to push your foot in, they come unsnapped. Other than that, they are a really good boot for around town in heavy snow. I live in northern Colorado and they've served me well so far. They are comfortable enough to walk around town, go shopping, drive, & shovel snow. I would not use them for hiking. They are warm enough and dry enough, but they aren't made to be supportive or comfortable during hiking excursions. I would use them on a even surfaced trail with no elevation gains or losses though.ETA: After a few winters usage, the snaps that hold the bootliner in broke. Since these boots don't get heavy usage, I was surprised they broke. I took them to a boot repair shop to get repaired and they said this model boot is one they frequently repair because the snaps aren't done correctly. I lowered the star rating to 4, from 5. The snaps are easy and cheap to get repaired but they shouldn't break so easily.

Best boots to keep your feet warm!
I researched a lot before buying these. They have not disappointed! I needed something stylish enough for church and functional enough for deep snow, with good traction and easy on and off. They’re perfect! Sorrels are the best for Alaskan winter challenges. I have bunny boots for snow machining and other outdoor recreation, but these boots are my everyday go-to boots. I bought a half size larger to make room for thick socks and easy on and off. I keep the laces fairly loose, but they fit snug enough that my heel doesn’t slip.

Looking forward to snow
It's still summer here in Canada, so I obviously haven't worn them yet, but I did try them on as soon as they arrived, because I saw some reviews mentioned them running a bit small. I don't think that's quite an accurate statement. They have a fairly thick felt liner that makes them a fit snug, but the length is accurate. I feel like I have an average foot in terms of width, and they're quite snug, but not too small. However, if you have a wider foot, you will find them too tight and may want to consider going up a size.

Very comfortable
Great looking and very warm and comfortable. Fit a little snug but not bad. I would have ordered a half size up if it had been available. Highly recommend.
