This brand works very well for me in very cold temperatures -25*I think it’s a great value because I get the best results for the amount I use.

Works great on the ice. Doesn't seem to bother my dog's sensitive paws.

This stuff is great at melting ice and snow, immediately after I put it down. The only thing I've noticed that might be a negative is that in some places, it leaves a little bit of a residual spot on the concrete, almost like I've spilled something oily. It goes away after awhile, and can be rinsed, if it is bothersome to you. This is my second bag of it, and I'll be ordering more.

Got to use this product today since we got 5” of snow in Reno. I decided to shovel as much as I could and then throw this product in my spreader and hit my driveway and walkway to make sure ice doesn’t form overnight.Long story short…even with the spreader dialed up to 5, as wide as it goes, I couldn’t use this stuff. The product has big flat pieces throughout that kept plugging up the orifice of my spreader. Yes, I wrote orifice and yes, I was laughing while I did it. Too funny.I finally had to cut up an old plastic gallon container and use it to spread the product out where I needed it. Unfortunately, I ended up using way more than necessary, but it worked so I gave it 3 stars.
