Wow. Got this for a gift for a budding culinary student and I'm very impressed with the artisanal quality of this knife roll. Well oiled/rubbed in a gorgeous walnut finish. Comes with a heavy suede pouch for smaller tools and a cross body strap. heavy duty brass hardware and studs fasten everything together. I didn't count but I noticed that there were more knife pockets than I was expecting. The heavy suede flap that goes over the knife blades protect them from each other and there are tiny brass studded leather pieces at the top of the knife pocket area, that will shield the tips of long carving knives. I was skeptical about buying what *looked* like an artisanal gift but I'm glad I did! I know my nephew will have this for a lifetime. Packaged well in plastic, wrapped in kraft paper and in a box that didn't distort/crush the roll. Highly recommend!
