The pair of 608-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearing 8x22x7mm double sealed bearings are the right size to replace the front and rear motor shaft bearings in an S-series Miele vacuum cleaner. Just putting that info out there in case it helps someone else. The rear (non-impeller) end bearing in my Miele completely disintegrated after about 15 years of use and noisily spat the balls out. Ouch!This is a bargain repair, less than 10% of the cost of buying a complete new non-genuine motor assembly :-)

Not much to say, it's a sealed bearing. Got 2 of them to replace the bearing on the drum of a hotpoint tumble dryer. Was an easy replacement, the bearing fit perfectly and the squeek that had arisen from the old, seized bearing has gone. Can't vouch for longevity but got 2 bearings for less than half the price hotpoint wanted so not going to complain too much if it doesn't last like the old one
