Skhoop Short Down Skirt

I ordered this as an alternative to having a long down coat--thought it would be good to wear this when it's really cold, but have the option of just wearing my shorter coat when it isn't necessary to be covered to the knees. The fit is slim and fairly flattering (considering that it's a down skirt). There are zippered pockets on each hip, as well as zippers that run along each side seam, should you get too hot and need some venting. While I like the skirt and am going to keep it, I'm not sure if it keeps me that much warmer than I'd be without it, as the wind is still able to whip up under it. (That's why I only gave it 4 stars). The workmanship and quality are very good. I did wear it to a football game in 28 degree weather, over some fleece lined tights, and I was comfy and warm. The inside lining is the same material as the outside, so it's easy to slip on and off and doesn't get all caught up in your clothes, as it would if the lining were fleece, so that is another good thing. I have a curvy figure and usually wear a medium, but wanted to be able to wear this over jeans if necessary, so I ordered a size L and it's perfect.

I got this skirt for iceskating primarily. My rink is freezing in the winter - I wear the skirt over leggings and it's is fabulous- you can unzip the sides for movement. I am 5'5 and 165 lbs - bought a large and fits perfectly. One side unzips all the way - you could use it as a travel blanket. I also used it camping and wore it over corduroy jeans. LOVE this skirt. Great pockets, great fit, great design. Like having a long coat on when added to a down jacket!

I have one of the older skirts (same style) and it is quite a bit puffier and definitely better quality. The new ones also are very inconsistent in terms of sizes. The gold medium was tight across my hips; the green medium is too big. Frustrating, because these skirts are fun during depressing weather.

This is the cutest skirt ever! Fit is nice and close around the waste (while others tighten and bunch up because of elastic). I bought 3 of these and will get other colors ... when the price is right.

This skirt is so much fun. I use it primarily for the ski lodge when I don't want to walk around just in tights with my rear-end in the breeze. It's warm and I love that it has pockets that are roomy enough to hold a phone or other essentials. I am usually a medium for skirts and pants (5'7", 135#) but I found the small works better for me. If you are between sizes, I'd recommend going smaller.

I bought this skirt as well as the School Sandy Short Skirt. I kept the Sandy and returned the Down skirt because it fit better and was lighter weight. This skirt fit a little to snug in the waist compared to the same size in the Sandy. I wish the fit was the same. Otherwise seemed like a great product.

Nice quality, good puffy factor, but the fit was a little funky. It ballooned out too much for me (and the waist measurement didn't seem to align with the rest of the skirt). A little too bulky too, as I wanted to wear it around town, in and out of the car, picking up kids, etc. For the price I just couldn't justify the fit.

Excellent product. A bit on the expensive side but the quality is great. I live in Upstate NY where the winters are cold. I wear this over leggings with Ugg boots. Great look and very warm.
