Young Justice Outsiders: The Complete Third Season

A little too woke, but still great story and great animation.

First let's talk about the delivery. The Blu ray case for the disc was totally destroyed and me very nerveous about the condition of disc. After making a visible inspection of the disc I placed each disc into my players to see if they were damaged. Fortunately all the disc operated with no current issues. Now to the story of Young Justice season 3. The story continues with the team investing old foes, and realigning the teams and its member. Without being a spoiler the runs into some personal and moral issues. Story is complicated and compelling. I give a good rating only because of the condition of the case.

I loved this show when it was first on and am thrilled HBO Max brought it back. Even better, I now have a physical copy so if they ever take it down off their service, I can still watch it when ever I want.

As a fan of the first two seasons and one who lobbied for this show to be brought back... I now regret asking for a third season. There is a noticeable decline in writing quality, far too much soap opera interactions with the team, little to no progress in the story for many episodes just the same arguments and petty conversations over and over, the action is far less interesting, even the art quality has dropped noticeably (sidenote, I really don't like how they decided to use the Judas Contract template for Deathstroke, I really preferred the design he had from second season - he sticks out like a sore thumb in this season with looking out of place among every other character design; and... why did they decide to go with face make-up over a mask for Bane? He looks more like a member of ICP now).It's really disappointing that the writers decided to focus more on identity politics and inane interpersonal interactions rather than any sort of story. The set-up we received in the second season gets a back seat to all this. And unlike the first two seasons which had pretty satisfying final two episodes with some epic battles... this season seems more tame and more forced, very anticlimactic.There are a few interesting episodes, I really enjoyed seeing Vandal Savage's backstory and I loved the Bat Team of Batman, Katana, and Metamorpho in action... but those are the rare episodes I enjoyed. It's not so much that I hated the rest of the episodes, I felt very little for any of them - and then I got to the end of the season and felt ripped off. There's no way they used the same writing team that showed a love for these comic characters and the universe they were building, this was a lame shadow of the first two seasons. I have serious doubts I'll be buying any more seasons for this show, it has nothing more to offer, it's not overstating that this third season killed this franchise.

I actually ordered this set a second time. The first set got scratched and one of the discs would skip. The series more or less picks up where the precious season left off. It intoduces a new team of characters with frequent appearances of established heroes. My only complaints were some blatant attempts to slip in sjw politically correct pandering: like making an established character gay without any development or any justification how this adds to the overall story. Or how another character does not identify as a specific gender (although this made sense given the character's origins). Despite the political pandering I enjoyed the series and woulf re commend it to any fan of the show.

I loved all but two things in this series. This was a great follow up season. The art is still as good as before. The twist on teams was interesting. The add on members were great till one left. These were some good stories and we hope the series continues. BUT...The ending music scores at the end of each episode are Pathetic. ( DC has the best Score Composers in their Animated and Live TV Shows out there. Many agree.) Whoever thought up these musical ( ?) endings and those who accepted them ought to have their heads scanned. This is an "Action" series. It's not a "bedtime" series. There are "late" Teen and Adult characters portrayed here, not infants. There will unfortunately... be no Queen nor Princess' of Atlantis in this series anymore. Good grief. Not every DC Show has to be twisted...Get some "Balance" writers. Not Everyone thinks the way "You"... 1/11/2020

The series isn't as action packed as the first two seasons, and that's because these characters are quietly settling in their lives, and new characters are rising, (quite similar to new chapter of marvel's avengers), and enemies are leaving trails and legacies for next generation to follow. Still has some good storytelling.

Brilliant.

The new characters are rather bland, but seeing the old characters again after all those years was all that I hoped it would be.

I enjoyed watching this because it brought me back to watching the last two seasons

Revivio Young Justice y nos trajo esta excelente temporada. Al ser una serie exclusiva de DC streaming no creí que la fueran a sacar en DVD o Bluray pero Amazon nos ofrece la posibilidad de adquirirla.Es la 3 temporada completa en 4 discos la versión de DVD, la calidad del menú es terrible pero los capítulos se ven excelentes, la serie viene en Inglés pero no es difícil de entender. Sin duda una gran serie, para aquellos fanáticos que esperaban este temporada no duden en adquirirla

Liked this season, especially because I didn't have to pay for one half then the other half separately.Liked the storyline and characters and increased diversity, they should keep going.DC seems to do animated movies and tv shows better than Marvel in terms of story line and artwork, at least from the small amount of animated series that I have seen. Can't wait for Season 4.
