Really nice updated luck.
This T style radio looks awesome and is a great update from the stock system. Only having two bolts and relying on the four little clips to hold it in place makes it where it can’t really tighten down well and so it’s not perfectly flush even after checking and manipulating all the wiring. The CarPlay will not work with a wireless adapter so it has to be plugged in. The radio makes a sound after start up that sounds like a game show which is kind of annoying and I can’t actually figure out what it is. It happens kind of randomly sometimes it’s immediately after start up other times it’s a few minutes after I’m already driving down the road. The phone interface is a little behind the times and just pops up on the bottom of the screen. Would be nice if it had a big answer and hang up button like some of the newer radios in the newer cars. The buttons on the side are a little cheap and feel like they might break over time. I guess we will see. Biggest complaint is that the start up takes longer than it should and sometimes I have already backed completely out of my driveway or a parking spot before it starts up there for my back up Cameron never even has an opportunity to show on the screen. Overall it seems to be a good product. I will update if anything changes.

Looks good
Looks good but not a perfect fit. Wasn’t able to secure it to the point where it didn’t leave gaps. Item was returned.

2 up .. 2 down ..not worth the headache
. I purchased 2 of these tings and they both gave me a popping/buzzing sound in my truck.. one after 6 months .. AND ONE AFTER 2 WEEKS ! the 1st I installed myself and the 2nd (to avoid mistakes) I had professionally installed . I though it was my truck that was the problem .. but when i replaced the units with a different aftermarket unit.. it sounds fine. i find it crazy to get to bad units in a row... don't do it.. learn from my mistakes

Needs an update
for some odd reason this headunit won,t keep the correct time and won't access all radio stations! The installation of this radio caused several lights on the dash to light up.

Clunky, slow, not 100%
Purchased from Amazon, they changed listings so I had to post on this listing - same unit. Have owned mine for a year. Overall, very slow, clunky, takes a while to response and process your touch command. My factory rear camera works 9 out 10 times, common issues with these and Tundras it seems. Overall, for Carplay, I recommend gettin an aftermarket Carplay bluetooth unit, as this unit uses Z-link for carplay and only via USB cable. BTW, I only use Android auto as Carplay just does not seem to work at all.Again, if I had to do it all over again I would just use the far quicker factory unit with Android auto/Carplay aftermarket interface.
