GunVaultMicroVault XL Portable Handgun Safe with Patented No-Eyes Keypad and Security Cable (2 Pistol Capacity)

The only reason I give this two stars and not one is that the safe will work fine for transporting two handguns. However I only have access with the key. Fingerpad works, but does not accept enough power from the battery to unlock the latch and therefore the safe won’t pop open. Mine fortunately will work with the key. It also takes me a couple of lid drops and an extra push to shut properly. If you’re looking for a safe to do all that it advertises, this safe IS NOT THE ONE for you. I’ll keep it as I will use in my truck, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Once I received the safe, I read the instructions to open it with the backup key. Well, the backup key wouldn’t work, either of them. After multiples tries, we returned the product. We then received a new safe. The new back up key to the new safe... didn’t work either. I’ve always multiple reviews complaining of the same thing. Don’t buy this safe. Buy a safe, but go with a different brand.

Owned about a half-dozen of this brand over the years. This one is the best one so far as it has more room than the standard vault and has a green LED key pad. You can fit two full sized G's, and still have room for compliant (10 rnd) mags. IDK about the "no eyes" keypad, because I look at what I am doing. Comes with steel cable to strap it down. No additional lock needed. Extremely durable. Would like to see single reliable bio lock in the future.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband, and the key wouldn’t open the safe. Because the key didn’t work, we couldn’t even set up the finger code. So protected you can’t even open it to get your gun in! Would not recommend!

Complete junk. I would have given zero stars if I could. The finger buttons never worked even though the safe made an unlocking sound. The lock stopped locking after a few opens using the key. Complete waste of money and terrible product. Sent it right back for a return.

I bought two. The first one the key or factory default code did not work to open to program. Sent it back and got another one. Same problem!!! Called their service center to see if we were doing something wrong, no help! They are useless just like the gun safe!

Looked good until I tried to use the key. It didn't work. Manufacturer may have put the wrong key in the box with the microvault.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this is a larger gun safe than I currently own. I purchased this 2nd one for my 2nd vehicle to prevent having to move the current gun safe from one vehicle to the other. It's a wonderful piece of equipment and will keep my weapons safe if I have to leave them in the vehicle.

I am really deceived with the product. I text about three to four times of inserting your code properly for it to actually pop open. I just use it with my key now which defeats the entire purpose ofpaying for an electronic lock. Its really cheap and looks like it can be picked by a child. I would not recommend.
