Really good for the money.
Instructions were hard to follow, but once put together, it worked fine. I was able to spray my gravel driveway with brush killer, works great. Use the spot sprayer to spray fence line to illuminate poison ivy. And spray wand has a good range on it. Plenty of pressure. If you buy this product, make sure you check inside the tank for parts when assembling. Yes, it came with three separate instruction books but if you follow them, it goes together really easy. Would highly recommend. Does need a bracket to hold the hose for the sprayer wand

Good idea, but product doesn't work well
I've had this thing for 3 years now, and it's never worked well. Initially, the pump wouldn't prime. Manufacturer was responsive then, and sent a new mixing valve. That worked for awhile, but it has NEVER mixed according to the dial setting. It mixes nothing on a setting of 3 or less, a bit on 4, but then did pretty well on 5+. Bottom line, I have NO idea how much active it's mixing into the water stream. I flipped the thing a little over a year ago and bent the hitch; emailed the manufacturer twice trying to identify/order a replacement, and never heard back from them. Was using the thing again today and it completely stopped working. The pump won't prime at all. Sadly, a large waste of money.

Works Great!
Sturdy built tank, fairly easy to use, it would be helpful if there was a easier way to switch from tank sprayer to wand. Parts that hold the tank sprayer are made of plastic and could break very easy, metal would have been much better. For $400 you would think it would be built so it would last longer. All and all it’s not bad!

So Far So Good
It took less than an hour to assemble the sprayer. It was missing one hardware bag but a phone call to Chapin fixed that. For storage I take the spray bar off and secure it on top of the tank. I substituted wing nuts to make this easier. It would be much better if the spray bar was hinged both for storage and in case of getting too close to an obstruction. My only other complaint is lack of organization for all of the hoses. My solution is short bungee cords but for the price they could have thought this through and provided for it. So far I have used it for weed control, bug control, fertilizer, liquid lime and for watering the lawn.

Superior Product with One Flaw
Simply an outstanding product. It does have one major flaw. The the top bar of the attaching fork to the vehicle, bent upwards after the first use. The thin attaching metal cannot with stand the weight of the 25 gallons of water in the tank.

Poor quality, terrible support
I purchased a Chapin model 97761 tow-behind sprayer from Amazon. It was delivered on Aug. 23, and I assembled it with no problems. The unit worked OK for approximately 10 minutes, and then the pump failed. I verified that the fuse was not blown, and 12 volts was being supplied to the pump motor. I did not dismantle the pump.On Monday July 27 at 8:45 AM PDT, I called Chapin’s 800 number. The hold music was very loud and annoying, forcing me to hold the phone at arm’s length. The recorded message said that my estimated wait time was 20 minutes. I waited on hold for approximately 10 minutes, and when the recording said that my wait time was still 20 minutes I left a voicemail. As of this time no one has contacted me.I called back at 1:39 PM the same day, and tried customer service. Erica answered after 10 minutes, and transferred me to product support. At 2:02 PM PDT I was disconnected. The next morning I contacted Chapin through their Facebook page. I was asked for my phone number, which I provided, and told that I would be contacted. As of 3 days later, there has been no call.Giving up on Chapin, I initiated a return through Amazon. I disassembled the sprayer, boxed it up, and UPS picked it up the next day. It was not only a waste of my time and effort, but leaves me without a sprayer at a time when I really need it.Amazon and UPS gave excellent service throughout this ordeal. Chapin was a total loss.Guess what brand I won’t be buying?

Great idea, not so great implementation. Better buy multiples for parts
I loved the system when it works, but the tires blew, warping the trailer. So I moved it to a new trailer. Tires were filled to 45psi, under the 50 rating and they blew again. So I mounted the sprayer on a much heavier duty trainer... and then the mixer bits broke, and new parts are not available.Anyone find a better version of what this does. The idea of a small system that mixes the chemical is great. I just don't need a 1000g version, but want something that isn't breaking all the time.

Missing parts handled well
I'll write a full review when I get all the parts. As you can see, the shipping process took its toll on my sprayer but what I received looked to be in good shape. Sadly I didn't receive everything. Seems the pull behind components (wheels, under carriage, tounge) and the pump were missing. Per instructions, I called Chapin and Sarah was exceedingly helpful and has started the process of getting me the missing parts.Once up and running, I'll let you know how it works.
