Philadelphia Candies Assorted Dark Boxed Chocolates, 1 Pound Gift Box

The candies arrived in perfect condition. Each piece is first a treat for the eyes w/ the glossy rich dark chocolate enrobing the various fillings. So many delightful touches just enhance the eating experience, I.e., the Brazil nots are coated w/ a perfect layer of dark cjhocolate,& perfectly cleaned so that it is a fabulous balance of rich crunchy buttery nut and leading perfectly tempered dark chocolate.The chocolates are sp rich & delicious that we each have one in the evening and that craving for something rich & sweet. Thus far there hasn't been a dud in the box.The candies present well, the deep glistening dark chocolate, lightly decorated w/ more swirls of the dark chocolate. The creams have all been really yummy w/ rich flavor. The caramels soft & stretchy. Treat yourself w/ a box o these superb gourmet chocolates. I'm very happy w/ the quality of these chocolates; based on how very well made they r it's,worth every penny paid & more.

Nice variety, but not sure if I got an old box or what. Chocolates were very hard to chew, not just the nut ones but the soft centers too. Other wise good flavor, just tough on teeth. Since I posted this nagative review I MUST change it, Philadelphia chocolates must have read my poor rating (original 3 stars) and actually was called on phone by customer service and they not only replaced the box of chocolates I had orderd but also sent 3 of their dark chocolate bars and a box of their French chocolate mints. All are delicious and will order again, BUT will order directly from Philadelphia Chocolates as my origainal box of chocolates I orderd is $5.00 LESS on their website.

Was a gift to myself. The dark chocolate is good quality, but the mixture inside isn't great. The caramel is very tough and the assorted isn't wowing at all. I could have gotten a box of Russell Stover for 1/3 the price and been just as satisfied. I will say the shipping/packaging was STELLAR! Came with dry ice wrapped in thermo packaging to keep it from melting--this was greatly appreciated.

Girlfriend loved these for Valentine's Day. Her main complaint was that she was eating it too fast. My only complaint is that they was no "map" of the different chocolates. I guess they decided to go with the Forrest Gump philosophy of boxes of chocolates.

I really loved the taste and variety of this box of chocolate. I will be buying some more soon . I recommend this to everyone. It's really good with a hand made taste , enjoy

Too much sugar and not enough chocolate in chocolate covering - looked great, tasted blah. Ditto fillings - they almost all tasted the same - i.e. sweet and blah, indistinguishable from each other in taste, despite different colors and textures. Thought it was just me at first, but everyone who tasted them said the same. There was some good fruity carmel filling and some good nuts - but that was it. Since this was shipped direct from Philadelphia Candies, it was fresh so subpar quality was not due to age. I had also purchased Russell Stover chocolates, Hersheys and some Giardelli for the same family event . All of us agreed those were 1000% better than these supposed premium chocolates. Hard pass.

The delivery of the product was on time and in perfect condition. The selection inside was great and the chocolate covering on each piece was yummy! Have purchased from Philadelphia Candies before and they have never disappointed. Would definitely order again.

We have been searching for about 8 years for a new Candy company and we finally found it!!! This is the best chocolate I’ve had in a long time. The shipping was perfect, quick and not melted. We will definitely be reordering again next Christmas. If any special occasions come up before that I’d order them too.
