I love the simplicity of putting this together. However, it took the combined efforts of 5 people to align the center connectors. Once all bolts were tightened and the cover put on, I fell in love with it all over again. My son-in-law is over 500 lbs. and has already destroyed a bed frame and a traditional box spring. So far, so good. He says it feels very sturdy and gives him the support he needs.

We recently moved into our new home and purchased all new furniture. We were in search of a box spring for our new king sized bed. After shopping around and reading multiple reviews, we finally went with this one. The price was extremely reasonable and it was very easy to assemble. It fits our new iron bed frame perfectly and feels very solid. It's exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend it and would absolutely buy it again!

I'll be honest: the name MEGATRON was a huge factor in my purchase!!! Upgrading from wood to metal should've been done years ago! The moment I climbed into bed, I could feel a tremendous difference in support and comfort. It's my 2nd night in bed, and it's so hard to keep my eyes open. No more tossing and turning in my sleep trying to find "that spot" because the whole bed is amazing.

The metal boxspring arrived 3 days early with no bent pieces, yay! I am not handy at all but with my starter ratchet set (this is key to drastically reduce installation time) I put this thing together in less than an hour by myself yesterday. Wife resisted moving from old wooden type but we are both convinced after a silent night with much more supported mattress. The old wooden box spring was very noisy which I think was caused by the wire metal rubbing against the wood frame. The pictures in the instructions were more than sufficient to figure out how to line up and insert the bolts. By supporting the middle section with 1 hand I was able to line up the holes to get in the bolts with the other hand...just took a bit of persistence for a couple of minutes. The outer bolts went in even easier. I kept them all loose until I had them all in then start tightening from the middle out. Not sure if necessary but worked for me.The new box spring sits on top of a metal supports on a cheap Ashley bed frame (fiberboard type). So if it works for this setup I can imagine with a higher quality bed frame.I don't write many reviews, but I had to let others know how thrilled I am about this solution.

I upgraded from a wooden box spring after I got so sick of how absolute noisy and creaky it was at the slightest move. I figured looking at the skeleton of this frame it would be quieter than the daily non-stop grind of old wood against old wood.It was really easily put together and is SO QUIET. I am never using a wooden box spring again.

This frame is amazing! If you are still sleeping on a wooden box springs you need to upgrade now! My back was killing me on our old temperdic mattress. We bought a new set when we moved in July. It felt great for about a week then my aches returned. Not to mention the box springs squeaked so loud even with the slightest movements! We have had it up for 2 nights now and my body does not ache and there is NO NOISE!! The Assembly did need to people I wouldn’t do this by myself. Other than that it was easy to put together!!

My wife and I are flat pack furniture (ala Ikea) experts. We've put together literally dozens of things from simple bookshelves to beds and desks and entertainment systems, etc. We know how to do this. Assembling this was just the worst. The instructions are terrible but I could have given them 5 stars even then but the thing took 3 people to put together. Two on the sides to maneuver the pieces and one in the center to put in the nut and bolt. It took an hour, just as others said.Now, once done, it is amazing. Super sturdy, super quiet, fit perfectly, and I love that the cover is open on the bottom so my cats can't crawl up there. Would I buy it again? Yes, with gritted teeth and asking friends over with some pizza and refreshments.It is what we needed, exactly what we needed. Putting it together though... we've experienced things no one should have to ;-).

I took a gamble bc my wood boxsprings were broken but my mattress was still new. Comes very easy to assemble and includes 2 tools. Very easy to move around, would recommend this to everyone!
