Total saver.. money and time!!
I love how fast it sets you up to grill vs burning a whole bag of coal to start the fire and using half a bottle of starting fluid!! With this genius contraption we use only half the bag and it heats up in a fraction of the time and We didn’t notice any difference in flavor at all.

Excellent charcoal starter
This starter works great, and the included fan REALLY works well. It's made from basic, low-end sheet metal, so expect it to color change, and get ugly over time. ALL charcoal starters will break down anyway. I am totally happy with this starter, and the fan/gloves make it a great value.

Not for long term
I like that you do not have to use lighter fluid but it takes a while to get the coals going. I think I need more practice lol. After 2 uses it is scorched and warped. Walmart has this item for $9.88 (no gloves or blower)

Great charcoal starter system.
The chimney is so helpful for firing up charcoal. No smelly lighter fluid needed. Also, the bellows works VERY well. A balled up newspaper placed underneath really gets the job done when the air blower is used. Perfect charcoal every time.

Heat your charcoals with a battery operated blower to speed it up.
The product is nice but the instructions did not show how to assemble the heat guard. I had to go back to the photo in the ad to figure that out.
