Second pair of polarized Smith sunglasses, first pair with ChromaPop. I'm also a lover of Maui Jim lenses having owned eight pair over the years. Product shipped as advertised. I think others get confused by the many lens options and descriptions and mistakenly order thinking every lens is the same on different frames.I love these lenses. They are more than comparable if not better than Maui Jim's. ChromaPop is as advertised. Things appear sharper and clearer but don't expect a dramatic effect. It's worth considering especially if price difference is nominal. Frames are nicely designed and engineered and light weight. They look good, but feel cheap making the higher prices a little suspect, but sale price fair. The lense is worth it. They clean easier than Maui Jims. Lenses are good in bright daylight and can be worn all day long. Brown lens is slightly darker than Maui Jim's brown, but brighter. Chroma Pop has greater color contrast.The Outlier 2 fit my smallish head well. Small to medium is a good size description. Good coverage and side light blocking. All and all I am very encouraged by this brand and would purchase a third pair.

Pricing for these can be all over the place on amazon but if you can get the polarized version for under $100 I'd say they're a decent value. Smith have always been my go-to for quality outdoors shades (cycling, hiking, backpacking, etc.) and these are essentially on par with glasses I've bought from Smith over the years. The lens quality (mine are brown polarized) is good (not excellent) and the build quality is sturdy. Some have complained the hinges arent what they used to be, but I've never broken a pair so they work for me. These have a decent amount of wrap so they provide very good coverage from wind and sun without looking like a super sporty pair of oakleys (ie, i don't look like an alien or a beetle). They fit close to the face, so if you're expecting Wayfarer fit, they are not that--more performance oriented, but again, without the super sporty look.

I have a couple versions of these glasses from the older style to these which are the latest as of the time I’m writing this. The chromapop lenses are a little crisper than the older styles lenses but otherwise light transmission and quality is the same. Fit and size is the same as the previous generation frame.

I bought these glasses a year ago, and within six months the rubber on the temples had completely shriveled up. I filed a warranty claim and got a new pair quickly, but again six months later the rubber parts disintegrated. I cut them off entirely which makes the glasses less comfortable but at least they don't look insane anymore. I'll get a different brand next time.

Bought these with the expectation of great sunglasses based on the price. Received what appeared to be child sized sunglasses. Lens height barely concealed my eyes and the width strained to reach my temples.I have a medium face L/W. Lenses were great but otherwise vastly overpriced for what you get.Bought a pair of Oakley Mainlinks which were better sized and priced, and had dimensions for the glasses.

chromapop is great, google it for details, sunglasses show very good details even in low light

After researching, I found out that SMITH sunglasses are made in ITALY!.. Not these onesWish amazon would have made that clear in the description. I would have never bought them if I knew I am paying this much for a pair of sunglasses made in China... returning right away

The fit is great, the lens makes everything beautiful even in cloudy conditions. The greens come alive and water is just amazing to look at.
