Ecco Bella Natural Moisturizing Lipstick, Pink Rose

I purchased this product along with the ECCO Bella Chocolate kiss. I must say that I was very pleased with the product (Merlot). The delivery was prompt (3 days) and the packaging was easy to work through. This merlot color has a mild floral scent. It is not over powering at all. The lipstick is very soft and goes on smoothly. I am a dark-skinned woman and the color is not too bright or too light. It does compliment my tone. The color goes well with a cooperate type attire and also a casual wear. I am a teacher so this is suitable for work. I appreciate that there aren’t harsh chemicals in these products. I will be purchasing one of these (exact) colors for my mom. If it helps at all to know that I was not pleased with the Chocolate kiss and will be returning it. The product is very pasty, and the color does not show up at all. Some advice for this line of products, apply a minimum amount of lip balm before applying the lip color (if necessary) because it might not show up as well.

The color was not merlot. Merlot is a wine color. This lipstick was the color Brown. I was very disappointed, because the wine color is my signature color. I kept the brown color only because I don't like to bother with sending things back. However, I am shopping around to see where I can possibly get the correct color of merlot. Note : It does feel good on my lips.

I took a chance -- This is the 1st time I've purchased a makeup without seeing it IRL first. I liked the fact that it has good things like vitamin E and jojoba oil in it, and that it was colored with carmine & iron oxides instead of chemical dyes. It feels good on my lips.But I thought Tuscany Rose would be redder and, well -- rosier. This is orangey on my lips. I should have had a bluer red for my coloring.

So excited that this came so quickly and I got to wear it today! I LOVE the consistency, it is very smooth and creamy but slightly matte which makes it last a REALLY long time. The color is beautiful. Very pleasantly surprised. LOVE the price, LOVE the ingredients. I am tempted to buy some more colors =) THANK YOU for being an ingredient conscious company, we need more of you especially in the cosmetic world where there is no regulation whatsoever of ingredients or package claims!!

This lipstick is a little too dry for me. The color is nice but not bright enough. Wish it was creamier. Would not buy a lipstick online again without trying it out in the store first.

Merlot seems to be a good color for me, although slightly lighter on my lips than it looks like in the tube. I do like it's opalescence. And I appreciate the fact that it seems to be safe, organically speaking. I use a lip gloss over it, and the color really shines! At first I thought it was drying, but after a few applications, it's fine. I'll probably order more of this product.

Horrible product. I am so dissapointed and will never, ever buy another lipstick from ecco bella. The lipstick made my lipstick to dry and it just looked so bad. Y el color quedaba demasiado de claro en mis labios y no como se ve en la imagen, apenas pintaba!
