32 inch, 1440p, IPS is the way to go for office work.
My father purchased this for office work and coding, through my account. I highly recommend this, as the size and resolution are good enough for anything other than extreme artist's work.I have a THREE things to note.1.) 1440p definitely looks better on 27 inch screens. My daily driver is a Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD, and I would recommend that over this for gaming, if that is your intention. That monitor is worth it for $300-$340, I would say. 1440p on 32 inches still looks really good, but there is this subtle loss of sharpness that I notice when looking at the screen.2.) Although it might not be as sharp as 4k 32 inch, or 1440p 27 inch, the screen real estate is AWESOME. I have seen my dad having 4 tans open at once, two file explorer tabs, a code viewer, and a chrome tab, and they were all clear and legible, around the size of laptop screens. You can really be efficient at work with one of these.3.) Color is very good. It might not be perfectly accurate, but because of GOOD BRIGHTNESS and an IPS PANEL, It is viewable from any angle, and will look clear and sharp. Same goes for screen contrast.

good price for a great monitor!
Pleasant surprise! I had no clue how LG monitors compare to the other brands, but in this case I liked the price and UHD feature and the reviews, so I decided to try one. This is easily the best monitor I've ever had, seems to be on a higher level of quality than comparable brands like Dell, Asus and Acer. Great colors and resolution. Plenty of resolution for a 32" screen. Text is clear and easy to read. Great for software that has a lot of small text, like Apple Logic, virtual instruments, etc. Works well for movies too. I also like the on screen software for adjusting the settings. This one didn't need much adjustment at all. It looked almost perfect straight out of the box! At this price range I seriously doubt there's a better value out there for this type and size of monitor.

Easy Peasy
- Less than 5 minutes to assemble and replace my existing monitor. No tools required to mount the monitor to the stand.- Monitor is tilt adjustable only , (not height).-5 foot long HDMI cable included.- Power cord comes in two parts with a normal sized plug on one half and the transformer block on the other so the transformer block doesn't take up space on your power strip.Resolution is great, no dead pixels. It's replacing a 24 inch LG, so the extra desktop space is appreciated. Some older games that don't scale graphically appear to be a little fuzzier on full screen mode, but that's to be expected. (I've been playing Fallout New Vegas on it in windowed mode, so the demands on it are not high, but it works well enough.Great for watching streaming content from Amazon and Youtube as well.Overall, everything I expected for the specs and price range. And aside from the device itself, props to Amazon. Delivered next day 14 hours after ordering and I'm using it right now (a day before Christmas).

Solid all-rounder, but with a disappointing amount of off-axis brightness shift.
I Bought this as a replacement for an ailing secondary monitor, with the intention of using it as a primary display next to my existing 32" VA panel. Overall, I'd call it solid but not great. The monitor looks decent generally, and the Freesync feature, once enabled, plays well with G-Sync on my NVidia GPU. However, there is an unfortunate amount of off-axis brightness shift in this display, to the point that there is noticeable vignetting at the edges of the panel when viewing a uniform image from a typical desktop distance. Next to my older BenQ VA panel, the difference is pretty stark. It's bad enough that I actually double-checked the specs to be sure I didn't order a TN-panel monitor by mistake.Gaming performance is solid. 75Hz is a nice bump over 60 Hz (though not as dramatic as a pricier 144Hz monitor would be), and Freesync/G-Sync works well in the range (though it only goes down to 48Hz by default. For the price and size, it's a good choice. That off-axis shift is a real bummer, though. My day job requires a fair bit of graphics work, and while I don't have to have perfect color accuracy I need better than this monitor will give me. Added to that, LG has combined picture adjustment settings in the on-screen menu in counter intuitive ways. White balance shifts with contrast for some reason, gamma is renamed "Black Stabilizer" and hidden away under "Game Adjust" setting. (ETA, 9-25-20 -- Changing picture mode to "Custom" alleviates a lot of these issues and unlocks more granular color and gamma adjustments. I will maintain that the other picture mode presets are terribad and should be avoided.) I'm struggling to find a happy medium where this display matches the other one. Was IPS always this bad and I just never had a monitor big enough to notice?Regardless, it's a solid mix of features for the price, and if you aren't editing photos it'll more than get the job done.
