I initially bought these because my child's shoe laces would come loose and i was afraid he would get hurt at school. Great concept but when you actually put them on the shoes does look pretty scrunched up. It’s unavoidable even if you don’t use every hole which I tried. Its easy to apply to the shoe, I’ve read reviews that they were not long enough but i did not find that to be true. There is enough lace, very well made. The only thing I honestly don't like is how it makes the shoe look. But it serves its purpose.

The installation of the shoe-laces into a child size 10 was not too complicated. The hardest part was identifying the middle of the string to ensure the lacing at both ends would be equal. They seems to be made of good quality, bounce right back into place when pulled on.
