Very lasting battery
The solar battery lasts a lot in contrast to other Citizen eco drives. It's a bit difficult to read it under sunlight but in general is readable; good tachymetre addition and keeps good time. Steel watch band looks a bit cheap because it's made of hollow steel.

I'm Impressed
First off, I am somewhat of a watch enthusiast and have a number of nice watches. I've owned and worn this watch for 3 months now and feel I can give it an objective review. Here is my honest review of the Citizen CA4190-54E Eco-drive. Shipping was great; received 2 days ahead of schedule. Overall, I am quite impressed with this watch.PROS - Watch is extremely accurate, and I'm a nut about accuracy. Time is -0.5 seconds in 3 months. I've set it only once, and check it daily against NIST time (Boulder, CO). Watch wears nicely on the wrist, not too small, not too big. Definitely wears larger than the stated 43.5mm case size. Brushed stainless case and bracelet look very professional, nicely finished and weighted. Lume is actually surprisingly good. I'd seen some negative reviews on the lume so I wasn't expecting much. I can work in a low-light office all day, go to bed and wake up the next morning before sunrise and easily see the time. The lume isn't going to blind you, but you can definitely see it after your eyes adjust. Chronograph works extremely well. Very accurate, and returns to zero (exactly...another pet peeve of mine). Chronograph buttons are crisp and tactile. The three complications are all precise. 3 o'clock complication is a 24 hour clock, 6 o'clock complication is the main second hand, and the 9 o'clock complication is elapsed minutes on the chronograph (60 minutes total). Bought this watch for an every-day quality time piece. Definitely water-resistant (I don't remove my watch). It's been rained on, showered with and immersed in water with no issues. I probably wouldn't dive with it, but I wouldn't dive with any chronograph watch. Wouldn't hesitate to swim with it though. I do have a rotation of watches, but I've found this one on my wrist pretty much every day since purchasing. As noted, overall I am very impressed.CONS - There are a couple minor cons which may be relevant to some (albeit minor). The bracelet is none too large. I could probably use an extra link most days, but I do have a very large wrist at 8.5". Second, this isn't real important to me, but it is to some; the watch box I received is kind of basic. Basically just a standard black and white Citizen box inside a black Citizen cardboard sleeve. Watch is presented on a leatherette pillow with a foam cover over the watch.Overall, very impressed. Nice multi-duty watch. Shipping was fast and without damage.

Cool watch!
This was a birthday gift for my husband. He said he loves it and the more you were it the more you like it! It's more "subtle" than the pictures show and the dial/face of the watch is a good size. But it has a 24mm band to accommodate the surrounding bezel and buttons, so it's on the large size. My husband said he "loves it" and "the more you wear it, the more you like it!" I gave it 5 stars based on his comments, but we've only had it for one day, so I really can't speak to the accuracy and durability at this point. Citizen makes great watches though and it cones with a 5 year warranty, so we're very happy with this watch!

Better than a Bulova
I think this watch is wonderful! I'm 55 and have been wearing watches all my life. The last few years I was wearing a Casio G shock and was enjoying them very much, when it came time to get a new watch my wife suggested that I go with something a little more "dressier" to wear all the time. I agreed and new my decision was between 2 brands, Citizen or Bulova. I spent 4 evenings reviewing all the watches that these two makers had listed on Amazon, and decided that Citizen had the edge on the modern design I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with my watch!

Not the best watch for the money
First I must say that I returned the first watch because the chronograph minute hand was non functional. Amazon did a good job and I had the replacement the next day. Now, for the watch itself. It is a good looking watch and it is accurate. The problems start with the fact that in even marginal light it is difficult to read the watch, I have to make a guess at the time unless I really look at it closely. Also the date window is so small that with 2 digit dates it is next to impossible to see the date unless the light is really good.Overall, it's an OK watch and it does look good, just not the easiest watch to read. I have another Citizen watch that is a lot better.

Great watch for the value.
Love the watch! The box i was sent was different than pictured. Would like the proper display box. The quality is good and the fit feels good on the wrist. I have four other Citizen watches and this one is probably going to be my favorite after I get it sized.

Great looking watch
This is a great looking watch from Citizens, that I get a lot of compliments on. Easy to adjust. Luminescence isn't stellar, but this is true of most of today's watches that don't have Tritium-powered hands and markers. The biggest beef I have with it, and one that I've never had with any other Citizens watches, is an annoying squeak in the hinges on both bands, near the face, that I can't get rid of. Still love the watch though.
