A very nice set of children's musical instruments with great learning resources
**UPDATE: 4 MONTHS IN--The paint on these as well as the wood quality is not good. My baby mouths things still and his 8 little baby teeth (8 months old) have been able to chew off the paint AND leave marks/splinter the wood! No other wooden toy in our home is damaged like that, but all of his instruments look like a dog got ahold of them (and we do not have a dog).ORIGINAL REVIEW:Purchased this as a Christmas gift. Each instrument was individually wrapped and packed nearly in the backpack. I had so much fun (as a 32 year old woman haha!) Opening each one and testing it's sound quality. I was thoroughly impressed by how many instruments come with this set as well as the quality of materials used, how nice these look, and the quality of sound. I legit played twinkle twinkle Little Star on the xylophone and it sounded great! The little box with puzzle cards was difficult to open but I love how the kids can use those to help them learn each instrument and I also received a free ebook with a variety of fun music games I can play with my toddlers! (They emailed me after my purchase). I couldn't be more pleased with this product. It is really nice!

DANGEROUS
I would love to write a great review as my daughter loved them. However, we have had them one month and they have been very gently used. Two of the items have now fallen apart and are a very dangerous choking hazard. The first one fell apart after only a few days. i figured I better warn the parents.

Great set, highly recommended!
I got this for my 2.5 yo son. I've read so many reviews and really got into this because all these sets look so similar it's confusing to even understand what you're getting... I was looking for a set that isn't just stuffed-full with as many miniature toys inside a bag only to be able to say that it has the most Pcs. I wanted one that had some thought actually put into it, and I'm so glad I chose this one! It has a great assortment of instruments that look and feel of good quality, and they've all proved themselves sturdy enough so far. And trust me - they've been tested, no mercy...:). Since it had so many instruments, I kept some aside and introduced it to him gradually. It came with this charming puzzle game bonus that teaches the names of the instruments in the set, and a very handy (and adorable!) backpack. They also sent me an ebook with some nice musical activities we can do together. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and more importantly - so is my boy! These are his favorite toys these days. If you're about to get one of these, look no further!

Play that funky music
I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. The main reason I chose this brand is because of the non-toxic paint and wooden pieces. I loathe plastic. To my dismay, the whistle is made of plastic. This is my grandsons favorite instrument. It's still a great deal and quality craftsmanship. I would definitely buy again.

Great quality, endless entertainment for all!
Amazed by the quality of these instruments. I got these for my 8 month old, they are by far his favorite toys, he plays his instruments at least every day. The xylophone is his favorite, I was surprised how quickly he figured out how to play it.Initially, my pianist husband wanted to get a special tuned-xylophone, but I said, we are not getting our baby a tuned-xylophone to smash on the coffee table. So we bought this, and my husband was pleasantly surprised by how in tune the xylophone is. We both play with it, when we can wrestle it away from our son...I would highly recommend this instrument set!!!

Toddler's choice
I bought this product for my 10 months old Boy. Also it is one of his best trove of toys and he is still enjoying. It comes with two wooden or bamboo made whistles and it takes few days for him to learn blowing the whistle. It is still very fun to watch him blowing the whistle. The two lolly pop type bamboo sticks is not well attached and, one of the ball came off after hitting few times and the other one loosen. At this age toddlers take everything in the mouth and so, you must watch. He plays the musical instruments under my watch and I do not give those sticks anymore instead I give him something else to make the piano sound. All the toys are safe except the piano sticks and the piano itself may be a little heavy for 1 yr . It is good for gift, too. Thank you.

The bookbag that keeps giving
Great for 'special toys time'. I needed something to keep my daughter engaged and entertained but I make sure I only take this bookbag out on special playing times, when I want her to keep busy while i take care of my youngest daughter or when I need a free hand to cook/clean. She loves the instruments. I've found a YouTube video to play in the background to get her accustomed to how it should sound and the names of the instruments also. Me and my husband love pulling out the book bag and seeing her reaction.

So much fun
I got this for my 1 year old and she absolutely loves them! I have had to take away a few that I am afraid she will choke on but everything else is so much fun. I was worried about the paint coming off bc she is still young and will chew on things, but I have been persistent and not let her chew on them too much and they are fine! She really enjoys taking everything out of the backpack. Such a great introduction to music!
