Disappointed with this product
Purchased it and had an Apple Technician install it, but once I use my laptop on battery power, it shuts down after a while then won't start back up. It shut down last time at 48%. I had to plug the charger in to turn the laptop back on, and when I did, the battery said 1% then jumped back to 51% (because of the charging that was taking place) after about 3 minutes.This product clearly isn't good :(

Not for the faint of heart
Battery itself seems to work as advertized, so I'm not going to be too harsh in my review but the "kit" includes zero instructions. The "User Manual" in the box is literally just six ways of saying "don't puncture the battery or you'll die". No actual contents one would associate with something claiming to be a manual.Fortunately, the good folks at iFixit provide massively comprehensive step by step instructions for their kit, and a battery is more or less a battery. Assuming you have the right tools.Then there's the part that makes me curse the engineers at Apple. Holy Hanna, this battery replacement was an endeavor. I'm gobsmacked I got this back together in working order.... Never again. Can not recommend. Just pay apple to deal with it.

Worked perfectly in the MacBook. Needed to use double sided tape to hold the battery to the frame.

Product - malfunctioning - watch out !!! Still waiting my money back
Bought the battery for my Macbookpro 13 retina, shipped overseas due to Covid, make the replacement and Boooom ! the battery never charger !! taught that I did something wrong took it to a apple technician and the battery came from the factory not charging to corroborate we use Coconut Battery. Still waiting for my money back sin june 30 2020. Shame of product !!! Dont buy.

Cushion too big, missing one screwdriver
It fits well, but the battery is too cramped because of the adhesive cushion. Now the trackpad cant fake the feeling of a click. Also, they didn’t send all the tools needed, I needed the tool to remove the flex of the trackpad and had to wait to be able to install it properly
