It's the classiest thing in the kitchen. I WISH ALL of my stainless steel appliances LOOKed exactly like this teapot.I can pure 500 ml of water in the teapot & turn it on & HOT water is ready in less than a minute.I can fill the teapot w/ water, turn it on & make tea for iced tea in a few minutes!!!This is an exquisitely designed & constructed electric teapot - KUDOs 2 the manufacturer WHO took the extra TIME, MONEY & ENERGY 2 design & manufacture a TREASURE that will B passed down from me 2 my progeny; especially in this day & age WHERE most corp MOB$TER$ R only interested in funneling as much money as possible from ALLofUS (Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox, now.)I don't really have any CONs; but, I will update this review IF I discover any; but, I do have a few WISHES:WISHES:I WISH I had another teapot of this brand & exact color that was a lot smaller == for just one cup of tea.I WISH it would WHISTLE like a proper teapot whistled back in the olden days (just for nostalgia).I HOPE the ON/OFF switch stays okay; but, it sticks out from the teapot a bit & my hubby fears it might break off. I'll B very careful of that bc I LOVE this teapot!!!Hope this helps.

In the evenings I work as a caregiver for elderly patient of mine... I go to her home feed her and make sure she’s got everything ready for the night since she’ll be alone till morning... she’s not able to move around herself so everything has got to be in hands reach of. Every night she likes to drink a hot cup of tea or just plain hot water... initially I was heating water before I’d leave at 7pm... by the time she was ready to drink it, it was room temp.. we tried a insulated flask but she had a hard time with the cap, plus 2 days of the week I was not there to refill it.. that’s when I decided to get an electric kettle to keep on all night so she’s got heated water all the time.. this would be large enough to last her the 2 nights without me there, it would stay heated and most importantly there is a handle she can grasp!!!! Something that was necessary so she wouldn’t drop it like she’d done the flask many times!!I took it to her and let her know what it was!! The quality is nice, the size is superb!! I filled it up with water and plugged it into her lamp on her nightstand!! Stayed a few hours while I cleaned up and waited to see if it’d heat properly!! Well it heated pretty fast! I had her try lifting to see if it was do able and it was, even with it filled with water she could hold the handle well! She is able to turn it off and on by herself, so I told her 7pm turn it on and then off when you’re ready for bed so that it’s not running 24/7. 2 days later when it was my shift again I came and felt it, it was heated as expected and she said it worked “wonderfully” we solved the problem of her water going cold on her too early and she’s able to reach for it any time she wanted!I don’t know what else couldn’t been better!!!!! It can easily hold a few days worth of water for anyone!! I fill it every 3-4 days and it’s perfect for her!!! It was affordable and fit her budget! It’s reliable and consistent!! Quiet and easy to clean!! Worked out well and we’re both happy!

Decided to get this one because I liked the way it looked. It heats up water pretty fast. Works just like it should. I like that it’s safe for the kids, but at the same time I can’t tell if the water is warm/hot without opening the lid. I really like the shiny look. It’s fingerprint resistant, which is a big plus. I am very satisfied with this product.UPDATE (1/24/25): it’s been 2 years this I posted above review. I had no issues with my electric kettle. It’s been working perfectly. I love it!

I would buy this again. Worked great for almost 4 and 1/2 years It started to fail a few months ago and it stopped today . I'll try to fix it, but i think it's dead. Doesn't seem to get power any more .. nothibgnkasts anymore.

This actually makes my tea taste better than before. That sounds like a joke, but what I was doing before was using a Keurig to brew two batches of water into my huge mug. This took a while, and basically let my tea steep too long. I didn't think it was that much longer than it should be until I got this. My tea was noticeably better since it is being left to steep much closer to ideal time. Also, it is probably a better temperature since this gets hotter than the Keurig does. Or maybe it is due to the amount of time it took the Keurig to brew twice let the cup cool down more.It boils water pretty quickly, and I like that I can turn it on and then not have to watch it like a kettle on the stove. The button/lever lights up blue, then turns off and pops back up when it is done. In my kettle, it shuts off right after it starts making a lot more boiling noises, like it has reached a rolling boil.

My former kettle crashed after 10 years. After trying more than 6-8 kettles this one by far is the BEST! Double insulated walls means the outside of the kettle is not too hot, 1.7L capacity is larger than many, sleek design & perfect tone to go with any color, light up indicator switch, & the fact that the water stays hot for a considerable amount of time makes this kettle perfect! Yes, the kettle makes some noise while heating up to reach the boiling point yet think about it; it is quickly boiling water for your convenience! That said, it is quitter than most. Only flaw is that you cannot see how full the kettle is of the max fill line without looking inside the kettle.
