It is rosehip and it is awesome!
This is not citronella. There was obviously a misprint on the label. Citronella has a pungent, citrus scent that is pretty unmistakable (think bug repellent candles). This is nearly scentless. There is also a huge difference in the texture between this oil - a plant extract, and citronella, an essential oil. I have been using mine for over 8 months and LOVE it. My face and neck have responded to it amazingly. But I have highly, highly sensitive skin and cannot use essential oils except when extermely diluted. If this was citronella I would have had an extreme reaction when slathering it on my face undiluted. My best guess would be that they use a template for their labels and change relevant information on the template for each batch printing - probably printing thousands of labels at a time. On this batch, one of the sections was not updated before the template was printed and an entire batch was incorrectly labelled. I am bummed that I have to go looking for a different brand now due to the outrage that a little common sense and thought could have solved. Obviously the company should have let buyers know the error to correct the problem.I have very very dry skin and I use several drops which I mix with rosewater in the palm of my hand. I use a couple of fingers to work it together into a creamy mix, then apply to my face, neck, and decollete. On areas prone to breakouts I add two drops of tea tree to a more rosewater-diluted mixture (more rosewater, less oil) and it prevents breakouts. I will also dab a little undiluted around my crowsfeet, but be aware not to put it above your eyes since oils build up in the eyes and cause issues. This stuff absorbs amazingly quickly and is truly a "dry" oil. After a day in the sun this stuff works wonders and I wake up looking refreshed and sheltered the next morning. I do the same thing (alternating) with unrefined avocado oil (which is a little less "dry") for a nice facial regime that includes lots of fatty acids, lots of vitamins, and amazing healing properties. This stuff is awesome.

Soft and smooth skin
This is a very large bottle which comes with a nice glass dropper, the bottle is sealed with a lid as well.Yes there is a misprint on the bottle but only in the description, it states in the ingredients that it is100 percent rose hip oil.It is a light yellow color and has no smell, which i was surprised but this is the first time i have purchaserose hip oil.It absorbs well into the skin, i have been using it on my face and i really think ithas been minimizing the fine lines on my face.I have also been using it on my hands to keep them moist, since i wash my hands a lot and idon't really like using lotion.I wish i would have taken a before picture, but i still plan to so i can see the difference, i will share it on here as well.I have not had any issues with the use of this oil.So far so good!I haven't used it on my hair yet, but i plan to and will update after i do.*I purchased this with a discount to try out, review and to give my own opinion.

Pure, Natural, and Amazing
I absolutely love this stuff! It works so much better than an expensive serum that has only who knows what in it.I have a recipe for what works best for my skin being that I also use Retin-A and salicylic acid to prevent acne breakouts. Combine sensitive skin that hates everything and a lifelong battle with acne... and, well, you can imagine the issues I've run into time and time again. So, in a 3 oz bottle, I mix 1 part Rosehip oil, 1 part 100% argan oil, and 2 parts Johnson's baby oil with Shea and cocoa butter (it's in the adult skin care or moisturizer section of most stores).I've had so many people compliment me and ask what I use on my skin since it looks and feels as healthy as it is. You can imagine what it's like to be asked that when it's been an uphill battle to find the right balance since I was just 8 y/o. Seriously, my face started breaking out in 2nd grade.I even use it on my husband's cuts and scrapes from playing softball after I've disinfected the area. Supple skin heals faster. So, if you're looking for a product that's 100% pure, natural, and helps lock in moisture, look no further. You found it!

I love all the ways it can be used
I have been using essential oils for over a year now, ever since a friend got me hooked. I love all the ways it can be used. Rosehip oil is fairly new to me. Ordered a bottle on sail because I had heard it was good for skin. I love how quickly it absorbs. I am not as fond of of the smell though. It isn't strong or obnoxious...but unlike every other oil I have used it smells, well, like oil! I added other oils to hide the smell and have been using it as a hand lotion. I have used it so much I had to get another bottle. It wasn't on sale any more so I decided to try a new brand. This brand absorbs quickly, just like the other one. It has a less noticible scent though. I still smell "oil" when I look for it, but it isn't as strong. It is also a lighter color. The other one looks like it is made from carrots. This oil has a light orangish yellow color. Overall I really like this brand of rosehip.

Obsessed
After reading up on different oils and their interactions with skin, I decided to give rosehip oil a shot. I had been using coconut oil, which was making me break out and left a slick, glossy, finish that wasn't the best feeling. My rosehip oil arrived promptly and was in a neat little box, complete with cardboard supports that kept it from rattling around and breaking. The addition of a glass dropper is soooo nice and allows for precise measurement from a sizable bottle of product. I began applying three or four drops to my slightly wet face after washing thoroughly at night, and dropping 2 in the morning before my daily mixture of moisturizer and foundation. The oil absorbs wonderfully, and has brought a lovely glow to my complexion! The eczema on the back of my neck calms down with a single application, and I use it on my stretched earlobes as well. I will definitely be buying this again!

Unlike any other rosehip oil I’ve ever used . . .
I thought I would deviate from my usual rosehip oil due to prices and since this one offered 20ml more for being £2 less, I thought it was a bargain!I wished I hadn’t, it smelled like spicy Cheetos and stained EVERYTHING orange! My face, my hands, my pillows!I know the normal oil is meant to be slightly orange but this one was a much deeper colour and the scent completely off. It even spurred on a mini breakout on my face, that cemented it for me that it wasn’t pure. My usual oil helps tame breakouts and prevents them from occurring with regular use.I would advise people to invest a little more money to get much better quality.

Beware of burning sensation after applying the oil
A few seconds after I have applied this oil my face got very red and started to burn as if it was on fire. Even after I have thoroughly washed my face, the burning continued for nearly an hour. A couple of days later I tried it on my leg, thinking that maybe the skin on my face is sensitive to it, but the same thing happened. The smell is also very strong, the kind of strength that gets stuck on your throat and lingers for a long while in the air. I have been using rosehip oil for a while and I know how it smells. This oil is definitely mixed with something else, it is not pure rosehip. It went straight into the bin.I do not recommend this product.

I don't trust this product at all.
When my order arrived it was not the 3 piece gift set as promised. It was one bottle of rosehip oil. While the outer packaging claims the oil is from Chile, the label on the bottle itself says the oil is from the Ukraine. I only kept it because my first order never arrived so I was in a bit of a pinch. I wish I had returned it now though as this oil stings my face, an issue I have never had with any other rosehip seed oil at all. I don't at all trust that this product is actually what it says it is and wouldn't buy from this company again.

Not 100% pure Rosehip Oil
Oil has an extremely strong scent which doesn’t smell like any rosehip oil I’ve ever used. I only used a couple of drops & the smell is so potent it gave me a headache & had to wash off. Also didn’t receive the additional 2 oils to go with the rosehip oilReally disappointed
