Exceptional product
I purchased this light/laser combo in August 2021 and it is now May 2022. It’s performance is exceptional, laser was simple to zero and has held zero even after being used on semi-auto shotgun. Never a flicker or a failure to light and stay lit, the laser’s beam is very clean and bright even in daylight to a reasonable distance. No complaints at all as to the excellent construction and durability.

Nice flashlight
Very bright but I just received a flash/flash light without the laser. Put the wrong item in the right box. Kept it because I like the light.

Excellent light and laser
I also own a Valkyrie 1200, I bought this because my wife feels more confident with a laser. Like the Valkyrie, this thing feels well made and fits like a glove. The light on this is noticeably warmer than the Valkyrie - while the Valkyrie is a very pure white, this one has more of a yellow hue, but this does not affect it's illuminating capabilities one bit.I saw in a few other reviews people complaining of beam spread on the laser. The laser on this unit has a glass lens protecting the aperture opening, and if this gets smudged at all, the laser will be diffracted creating a "star" effect on target - a quick wipe of the glass and the beam is perfect. The light is blindingly bright. Add in the strobe effect and you can easily disorient multiple opponents. I don't regurgitate specs that are readily available in the product info, but I will reiterate that you can use any combination of the light, strobe, and laser, either instant on/off or switched. You can turn the laser on and off without affecting the light (including while strobing) and vice versa. Extremely versatile. Not the cheapest option by any means, and I haven't had it long enough to speak to overall durability, but on first impressions and performance, I can easily give this 5 stars.

Nice light, not durable and requires proprietary batteries
I have had mine for 1 year and the latch to release the battery cover came loose and would open when the gun was shot. The times it did not pop open, the lever would move and make noise whenever the gun was moved. However the company honored their warranty and replaced the entire light.Turns out even though this is described as using a standard CR123A, it DOES NOT. I have used various brands of rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries and none fit the light. The door would NOT close. So be aware, you will save money on this light compared to the other notable brands out there, but will quickly be absorbed by having to buy Olight branded batteries. They also sell an Olight branded RCR123A (rechargeable), but the battery power is half that of a non-chargeable.If this is something you can live with, then you'll have a nice little light at a good price, comparatively speaking.3 stars because the light does what it needs to do and the company honors their warranty-2 stars because Olight doesn't seem to grasp the concept of a standardized battery size. This is not a standard CR123A battery and you should be upfront about it.This is exactly how they advertise it on Amazon:Powered by two CR123A batteries, the max output of the BALDR Pro is 1350 lumens.

So far...
...don't like to write a review on something I have not tested in the field but; right out of the box it looks and feels just as good, if not better, than the Streamlight that was three times the cost. The light and laser are as bright as you would get with the Streamlight. The on/off switch has a nice tactile feel to it. The light/laser selector feels better, more robust, than the Streamlight. The quick mount clamp feels very secure. Oh, and I bought this because the Streamlight laser died after being used 5-6 times; very disappointing. Will update this review after hard use.

Standard CR123A Batteries Don’t Fit!!!!!
The Good:My light is bright and seems to be durable. The laser is highly visible and seems to hold zero well. The Bad:My light only accepts minimum length CR123A cells (33.9mm length). The battery door will not close for the longer, in-spec, 34.3mm long Energizer CR123A replacement cells I purchased. Please note the specified length for CR123A cells is 34.2mm +/- 0.3mm. The acceptable length range is 33.9mm to 34.5mm. My Baldr Olight, if it was properly designed, should accept any CR123A cell which has a length in the specified range. However, it only accepts cells that are on the short end of the specified range. This is an example of poor, unacceptable product engineering. So, going forward I either have to purchase OEM Olight CR123A cells or search to find another manufacturer who makes cells that are on the short end of the length range. THIS IS NOT OK!!!!

Bump in the Night
I bought these for my two AR-platforms. The flashlight is really bright and so is the laser. Be careful, as the light options (light/laser; light only; laser only) switch in the rear can be accidentally switched. Also, after shooting or transport, the laser seems to need re-zeroing. Not sure if I need to Lock-tight it or not to keep it secure.

Great light
Ok - so I don’t give a lot of reviews but...this light is great for mounting on home defense hand gun. I had the stream light tlr8 but returned it after getting this light. The switches on the BALDR are much more ergonomic and it’s a beast at throwing light. Very easy to get from low to high setting and the green Laser is very visible. can’t attest to durability but it’s not an edc for me so I don’t expect any issues. It goes beyond the barrel of the SW I have it on - but will place electrical tape to protect when at the range, etc.
