This is concerning the second set I purchased.
(the picture is an example of what I mean, but I am wearing them to show the missing part lol)This is my second time buying this exact set of thermals for my husband. He loved the first set which is why I bought the second set, but for some reason the second set does not have the "bathroom access hole" in the crotch. He works outside in the cold all day long for 6 days a week and he needs these thermals for work, but he was extremely disappointed when the second set was missing this part of both pairs. I don't know how to write the cellar of this product to explain this situation which is why I'm writing it in a review instead. If it wasn't for this mistake on the second pair, I would be giving a full five stars because of how much my husband loves these thermals. I truly can't afford to buy another set just to have the same issue again and I'm worried that if I buy another set, that crotch part will be missing again.

GREAT SECRET WEAPON AGAINST COLD
Bought a set of two last year and you KNOW it's good when you find yourself buying another set before the season is out. I wear these over underwear, under clothes, all in-doors, so 3-4 days between washing and they're GREAT. Much more sophisticated than any locally-made waffle pattern thermals. VERY comfortable inside like a fine sweater and harder-wearing on the outer portion without pilling or signs of wear after consistent wear/laundering. I found myself thinking about buying another set or two of (2) but...I don't need them...hahaha! I look forward to the colder weather here in a few months JUST so I can break these out. I DO live in NORCAL/Bay Area and it's not what ANYONE would consider "cold" per se but having roots back east, I don't use the heater in my house and leave windows partially open unless the rain is getting in....so, yeah. It does get in 30's in the AMs with a few low 20's to be found a year here...and these are PERFECT. Great base layer and start of any good outfit. Cheers!

Value vs longevity
The thermals fit well. They are very light, extremely comfortable and very warm. They are an excellent value! The CONS are poor durability. After 3 wash cycles the material is already showing a considerableAmount of wear. I received 6 pairs half way through the winter season. Based on the current wear I don't think they will last more than two seasons!

Size runs small, but quality is good. Nothing even comes close to the price and value.
I don't think there is a better deal on thermal underwear than two of these sets (that's 2 top and 2 bottoms) for under $23. Just know that their sizing runs quite small. I normally wear a Large in base layer thermals or XLarge if I want it to fit more loosely to be worn over a base layer, but for these to not be uncomfortably constricting, I have to wear a XXLarge.I discovered these early last winter, when searching Amazon for a less expensive thermal alternative, I purchased one gray pair which have held up perfectly - I machine wash in cold water and dry on low, and still in perfect condition 1 year later. I gave them 4 stars just for the sizing issue, but once I found the correct size, I would definitely rate the value at 5 stars. The inner material is similar to a soft brushed fleece, with a slick outer material similar to Under Armour - very comfortable. And they insulate well for their weight, kind of a mid-weight thermal that could be worn as a base layer or as a second layer over a base layer for colder outings. Being in MN, I wear thermals most days in winter, I will buy more of these sets for myself and as gifts. Just a bit over $5 per piece for nice thermal underwear is a tremendous value.

the shirts hit a little short in the torso
overall they fit as expected but the length of the tops are about 2-3 inches shorter than would be for hitting at the hip like in the picture. the fabric is soft and not bulky.

Very comfortable, hard to get the fit right
* Provided an honest review in exchange for an Amazon gift card.First off, these are super comfortable: the fleece is very soft, and they are VERY warm. When I wear these, I almost always wind up shedding layers. They do their job really well. I'm hunkering down for a Chicago winter, so I know what cold is. =)That being said, it's hard to get the fit quite right. I'm 6'1" and 175 pounds. I ordered the Medium size, and they fit my slim frame snugly, but the sleeves and legs were much too short. So, I exchanged for a Large size (the exchange process was easy, no problems). The Large size is long enough for my arms and legs, but a little baggy around the middle and the crotch (you can see it bunching up in the picture). However, they still fit comfortably under my every day clothes, and I anticipate that over time and washing, they will shrink somewhat. I'm more than content. Just be aware, if you are slim and tall, it probably won't be a perfect fit!
