Simple packaging and effective shock protection. The thickness is very thin and the weight is very light. Suitable for travel and not suitable for playing games. This is very useful for general word processing and watching Youtube, social media sites and videos. For the price, this is a very good machine. This is bad for the game (too slow for complex games), but it can meet all our needs. The screen size is correct and the resolution is good. If you want high resolution, you need to pay more money, but for this price, the resolution is good. The sound is very good. It all depends on the purpose for which you use it. The computer was updating it was charged, then it cut off and never cut back on again. I just got this a few days ago. The power light would just blink and nothing ...with the charger plugged in. I’m disappointed and would like a refund.

2.5.20 Update: I would like to provide an amendment to my original review. As I stated in my initial review, I was having serious difficulties getting online with the laptop. I contacted the seller who worked with me to try some troubleshooting techniques that ultimately didn't work, however, the seller sent me a new replacement laptop to fix the issue. I have to say that the seller's responsiveness and willingness to work with me to fix the issue has changed my opinion of this item. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone who needs a cost effective solution for mobile computing.I thought I had properly vetted this laptop; it turns out that I had not. While this laptop does not come with Windows S installed, it only has Windows 10 Home, which is not the same as Windows 10 Pro. The home version has fewer features than the Pro version, and as I learned today, you cannot access a remote workspace. I feel like the product comparison tool should be more clear about this difference.The biggest issue I'm having with this laptop is that I cannot get it to connect to Wifi.... at all. I have gone through every troubleshooting application available, Googled several fixes, and nothing seems to work. I've contacted the seller to see if they will help me with this issue. If I could give this a zero, I would. First off, this was definitely not a new laptop! Nor was it an Intel. Any laptop has some type of Brand marking on it. This laptop has no tag and is brandless. Secondly, it takes 5-10 seconds after I press a key for the key to actually show up on the screen. And forget about going from page to page, you’ll be waiting forever. It says in the description that it’s a quad core, which are lightning fast. This was not the case here. Thirdly , the camera sucks, And You can’t watch any videos because it’s blurry and the sound is horrific. BUYER BEWARE, think twice before going this route.

II bought this laptop for my mom after her previous one (actually a few of them) had a hard drive failure. I was looking for a simple laptop that she can use for surfing the web that was reasonably affordable. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles to this laptop, but I got what I was looking for at this price pointIt wss easy to set up and mom is happy to be online again.

I purchased this new, for my niece, and when it arrived, it automatically logged into Windows. Weird since new laptops have you set everything up first before logging you into Windows. My sister said it was working fine last night when she put Norton on it, but this morning when my niece was trying to do her school work, it started glitching. It won't let her in the start menu and the icons on the bottom bar keep blinking. I am thinking this definitely was not a new laptop that I was sent.

The makers should tell the truth about the battery life. It says 8 hrs but only last about 3-4. The webcam is basic, you will need to upgrade the memory as it gets slow fast. You get what you pay for but it can work if you are not doing much just basic stuff. The wifi receiver is weak it needs an upgrade. This is just a basic laptop. But works fine.

Originally was going to return this, however, thought it could be used as a gift for someone that needs a laptop. It came packaged well, seems to work at a good speed. I wanted to be sure I would not give someone trash, so I played with it some. It does have a "China made" type feel by how the material of the laptop feels. If it falls once, that may be the end of it.
