Good storage for a protected outdoor area
DESIGN: I bought this little shed for my backyard and planned to place is under a deep eave. Obviously, with the open slat front doors, it is not going to keep your items protected from the elements and keep smaller pests (bugs) out, so that is a negative of the design. I had considered stapling plastic sheeting behind each panel, but then decided I didn't think I'd need the extra protection in the location I chose.ASSEMBLY: As other reviewers have mentioned, the directions are a bit tricky to follow and sometimes don't show enough detail to prevent you from putting something together incorrectly, so be sure to study the finished diagram carefully. Also, the hardware types and count didn't exactly match the inventory, but I was able to make it all work. I was able to assemble it by myself with just one error along the way - I put the back panel on upside down. Although it seemed a little rickety as I was building it, when t finally came together, it seems pretty sturdy.Another downside is that there are no glides or levelers at the bottom of the feet, so you will have wood touching the ground. I sat the shed up on bricks to keep water from pooling at the feet, but nailing in some sort of glide would be optimal.VERDICT: All in all this is working well for me. It holds quite a bit and I was to able to organize it nicely. I added some screws to create hanging space for some tools and felt that really optimized the storage.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. It is pretty cheap and thin wood. It split a couple times as I was drilling in the screws. It also does not appear to be really waterproof except for the roof, but thankfully I needed it for my covered patio. I plan on sealing it though for better weather resistance as it seems to be raw wood and not stained or sealed at all. The directions are perfect for those that don't typically like to follow the directions, as they are very basic and not as detailed as ikea furniture. I probably wouldn't store anything too heavy in it.

looks as advertised, wood quality questionable, directions are poor
The instructions are missing several steps, such as the dowels not at all mentioned/pictured in the instructions. Learned that the hard way after the wood joiner blocks cracked in half when I tried to move the doors to work on the next step. Instructions are just pictures and do not show placement of pieces well so you really need to do figure out direction of pieces before screwing them together. I've put together various items over the years and this was the most frustrating of trial, error, then fix. Doing it by myself, getting the doors to match was a challenge - one is still a bit off but doesn't effect function. It did come out looking nice, but the wood quality is questionable. There were lots of frayed edges so to speak that I removed with a medium grit sand block and sanded the latch as it would not fit well. Questioning the waterproofness, I applied 3-4 coats of spar urethane for added UV and rain protection from the Florida elements, but there is a small hole in the wood in a side panel I'll have to fill in later. It's under a covered section of the patio but may still get a little wet. For now it looks just like the one shown as advertised, if i can edit the the review, I'll add a picture after its been in use for a few months to see how it holds up.

Piece of JUNK
The instructions are a total joke. It didn’t come with enough screws - I had to dig through my own stash to find fasteners to finish the thing. It feels like cheap balsa wood you can easily break any of the panels with a little force. Most of the wood panels are warped and not properly aligned. This made getting the door hinges installed and working properly a total nightmare. Especially since there were no pilot holes on those parts to help. The unit is NOT water proof at all. You would need to seal it to try and make it weather resistant but it’s not worth it. I doubt it would stand up to a gusty wind. Also, a bunch of the pieces came with globs of wood filler on them attempting to fix terrible cuts and mistakes from the manufacturer! Not worth the cardboard it was packed in. Actually, making a storage container out of the box it was shipped in would probably last longer than this failed wood shop project.

Meets Expectations
Reasonably easy to assemble; hanging the doors was a challenge and they don't quite close at the bottom but I suspect that door hanging has some tricks that I just don't know. The storage space is good, and the hook bar is a nice feature for hanging tools I use often. The brackets appear to be meant to anchor the four legs to the ground, but that wasn't clear and because the cabinet is on a brick patio not particularly useful. Don't know about whether it will be weather-proof as we haven't had rain since I put it together.

Terrible assembly instructions, broken shelf
As others have pointed out, the assembly instructions for this are terrible. They start out reasonably well, but the hinge and door installation is just 1 vague step, leaving LOTS of room for error. I thought I navigated things pretty well until I installed the shelves. Once the lower shelf was installed, the door couldn't close all the way due to interference. The hinges needed to be shifted out about an 1/8th of an inch. I anticipated new problems doing that, so I simply chiseled away at the interfering spots on the shelf and door. These hinge/door assembly problems could all be avoided if the pieces had pre-drilled holes, or at least location markings!! Some parts have pre-drilled holes, but not all, for some reason. The second, bigger, disappointment is that the top shelf was broken when I pulled it out of the box! I'm going to see if I can get a replacement from the company. If not, I'll have to glue with with some wood glue.In the end, I'm giving it two stars, because it is essentially what I was expecting, and I will be able to use it. But the wood quality and assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired.
