the pot and heat reservoir are of a good physical build, but are almost impractically small, but I'm sure you can use it for minor purposes but nothing substantial food wise. for heating, you will need to do measurements on the width and depth of the lower heating portion as I bought a bunch of Sterno-esq heaters and they didn't fit, so if I were you,1. find a very small heater or simply use solid state fuel cubes/alcohol camping pellets.2. if you do buy, measure the heating-well to find a heater that will fit that you can see in person (I bought online).finally the wooden lid seems to be almost like Balsa wood, so I wouldn't cook with sauces/currys, in theory I would cook a small portion of rice or sizzle a small portion of meat or even heat up a serving of miso or simple soup/broth as this would be safer for the lid in usage.

I dont know whah everyone was complaining about this is awesome! It’s definitely enough for 1 person but 2 can use it if they are okay with sharing the same broth. The material is really good too. I love it!

This is PERFECT for simmer pot spells and oil diffusing.

A true value , easy to clean , heats up efficiently and came in handy , power outage. Heated up leftovers in a matter of minutes. Good buy!
