Cleaned my FIL Ford Excursion for him. Last time it was washed was about 4 years ago, waxed..who knows? I know its the 1st time it was ever polished tho, tons of sap, pollen, grunge in the paint, no shine at all. Screwed the backer pad to my Milwaukee polisher & used the blue pad. The clear coat was damaged prior to polishing, but still got some very nice results. The pad held up well on a large vehicle, washed it up & looks like new again. Next time I'll use a finer pad and compound to see if I can get it even better, on what is now a heckuva nice looking truck. These pads did good by me and seem to hold up well.

These pads are used on a molded fiberglass trailer, which means the foam pad need not be used, only use the wool pads. All of these pads are well made and the color of the pad signals the softness. I have not used the foam pads on my cars but will do so next spring. Do not wash the sponge pads in a washing machine, hand wash only. Best to explain this concept of hand washing to your wife, gently. Better yet, to keep the peace, hand wash these yourself.

the packaging was good. all items came, except the connector for the drill, came as expected. as for the connector to the drill, i will have to buy a bolt and make my own connector. it looks like it is a 5/8" coarse thread. the pad holder and the buffer head(s) attach very well. Will amazon or the vendor send me the missing part? i don't know but it will certainly improve my rating

Not bad for a starter setup. Great value for the money. Gotta start somewhere and this fits the budget!
