While this will not 100% deter a thief, the opportunist with a random Club Car key won't be able to hop in your cart & go for a joy ride.Installation was very straight forward on Club Car Onward. Just take out the old plugs one at a time. Soon as you remove a plug from your current ignition, insert it onto the new one in the corresponding location. When they are all transferred over test it out & bolt everything back up.

I had to put the stock one back in after just a couple of months. I don’t recommend this switch.

The key easily pulls out in the ON position. … I foolishly called huskey and was greeted with a very rude secretary. They had no interest in doing business. Then the boss of huskey called me up for reasons unknown (he had no interest in promptly replacing a defective part) and was actually talking strangely.All i wanted was to upgrade a club car ignition. I didnt want drama club.I suggest not buying this ignition, and actually to avoid huskey parts company as well.

Really easy to install, took maybe 10 minutes. Comes with two keys.

I installed this on my golf cart and it worked fine for about a month. All of a sudden the golf cart stopped running properly and I came to find out the new ignition switch was causing the problem.

Did not work for my 2003 clubcar ds kept blowing fuses for some reason
