WHIZZ Durable Goose Feather Badminton Shuttlecock Shuttles Birdies Ball for Indoor/Outdoor Game/Play, Tube of 12

My son and I play badminton regularly for a club and have tried various shuttlecocks - both plastic and feather. We were looking for a happy medium for our practise session - some shuttlecocks that would be fairly durable and not cost a fortune but that would fly well and behave not too differently from the feather shuttlecocks that we play with at the club. This all seemed like a fairly tall order!After some searching and having tried various other brands, we came across these WHIZZ shuttlecocks. The price seemed rather too good to be true for feather shuttlecocks but still we ordered, although we didn't have particularly high hopes for them. It turns out that we were wrong to doubt - these shuttlecocks fly really quite well, (much better than the plastic ones that we've previously tried), and are really durable. Compared to buying other relatively expensive brands of feather shuttlecocks, we've found that the WHIZZ shuttlecocks, in general, last better and behave in their flight for longer.Just as an aside, when we purchase our next sleeve we will go for white rather than black as we've found that the white shuttlecock head with black feathers creates an optical illusion with the nets, (that are white tape and black net), making net shots quite tricky. Please note that this isn't a fault of the shuttlecocks - just perhaps worth noting.Overall I would say that these shuttlecocks are good quality, durable, good to play with and great value for money. We will be purchasing again!

Am really impressed with these, They fly straight and last a long time, we normally refresh the shuttle 2 or 3 times in a 60-minute game, with these a single shuttle lasts the whole session. I bought this colour as thought it would be better to see in flight against the light but i'm not sure if it better, but they do look cool!My only complaint is that, as par for course now with Amazon the delivery was late with a terrible carrier excuse of not being able to find my address.... Grrrrr!

They are advertised for their durability and really excel in that department. I'd say they're about 60% as good as yonex but at a much smaller fraction of the long term price. A good compromise between plastic and feathers if you like the durability and affordability of plastics but want some of the added advantages of feathers.

Bought these for our weekly badminton practice sessions drawn by price and positive reviews. I have to say I am delighted with them. Really robust shuttlecocks that stand up to far more use than other more expensive alternatives. I prefer to use feathers rather than plastic, but the cost mounts up as we can go through two shuttlecocks an hour. First few goes with these indicate we are getting more than an hour out of each one, so a huge improvement. They fly very true even with 'feather wear' which extends their life still further. I bought white because of the advice that black are harder to see at net. Players on the court next to us this week tried one and took details to place their own order. I can't recommend them enough.

Pretty slow so ideal for hard hitting warm up shots. Lacks a bit of control on short game net play. Some inconsistency with oscillation

I bought these as I used to play with feather shuttlecocks years ago. I recently started playing badminton again and I liked the idea of coloured feathers as they are much easier to see in the air against the ceiling lights in sports halls than white shuttlecocks are.They are good quality and durable and I prefer using these to the plastic ones.I would recommend anybody looking at them to give them a try.

Never played with Black Shuttlecocks before but they are brilliant, easy to see across the court and not much lose of feathers along the way. My friends and I felt they work really well in multipurpose courts in bright lights. They are definitely worth buying if use shuttlecocks on a regular basis, they are very durable.We feel they are good value for money, are good quality and last longer than other shuttlecocks we've used in the past.I would recommend them.

Easy to see in flight due to the black feathers, I’m only a beginner player and after an hours play it’s pretty much useless with the feathers shredding. Someone who plays more often probably would go through these quickly but for a tenner delivered for 12 they are fine. They do fly slowly though compared to plastic ones.

Abbiamo scelto di acquistare questi volanti perché giocando vicino ad una siepe se ne perdono e ritrovano di continuo, ma purtroppo la qualità non è delle migliori, si rovinano molto facilmente.

Premetto che non sono un esperto di badminton e risulta difficile dare un giudizio obiettivo. Detto questo il rpodotto e molto valido e mi sento di dare le 5 stelle. Raccomandato!

Ottimo prodotto, ben fatto, funzionale e bello! Il comodo astuccio è fatto in modo da tenerle sempre in ordine ed entra comodamente nella sacca delle racchette!

Super volant pour s’amusé , robuste et la boîte de rangement très bien prévue pour les prendre et les rangées.

Ps mal mais le noir n’est pas homologué ne compet

Je ne les conseille pas du tout. La coupe des plumes n'est pas bonne. Les volants ne volent pas bien et tourne en plein vol ... voir dévient de la trajectoire initiale !!!!
