The mechanical switch rotor that tells you which setting its on had already broken after a few weeks. It still turns on and off but the dial that tells you the setting is out of synch

Excellent little heater, warms up the en suite in no time.
Great little heater! Only downside is that the pull cord is on the same side as the power lead.

Very poor at what its supposed to do
If you remember the old dimplex downdraught heaters then this will really disappoint you. The air flow is miserable, the quality of manufacture seems poor, mine came with a black grease stained operating cord... nice. You cant see the power / setting display when its mounted on a wall above head height. I'd avoid it if you can and seek out a better one, it may cost a bit more to do that, but this is a waste of money.
