I bought these as a gift for my Aunt. She has Parkinson's and these help her write more legibly. I am buying a set for myself because I have arthritis in my hands.

My Dad has Parkinson's and has trouble writing and holding a pen. I gave him these pens as a gift and he was able to sign his name the first time he tried. Very cool product, I would recommend it.

I have what is known as benign tremor, i.e. not associated with any progressive neurological disease such as Parkinsons. The type of tremors I have are hereditary. I had gotten to the point that my writing (and printing) were so bad as to be only barely legible. I was afraid to write checks for fear that my bank wouldn't honor them. This pen has definitely improved the situation. I can write more legibly but still not as well as I used to. The only issue I find with it is that I have difficulty getting it to write on the bottom of a page, such as in a check register. I also have this issue with ordinary ball point pens and I believe it's due to the oil on my skin getting on the paper. It did take some getting used to writing with this pen because its size made it a little awkward to hold in my hand. However, once getting adjusted to it, it seems to work well.Update August 2020: In using the pen I found that the tip of the pen would not extend very far at all, in fact it ended up being less than 1 mm, which made writing almost impossible. I discovered that there is a white plastic sleeve on the top end of the pen that was gradually coming out, which made the point of the pen unable to extend. If you simply press the white sleeve all the way into the pen when this occurs, the pen will write fine. For this reason, I have reduced my rating to four stars. I still like the fact that the pen has make it much easier for me to write.

I love this pain, unfortunately. I have to use this due to the severe arthritis that I have. I have been unable to write. For a lot of years To my disadvantage. I love to write. With this heavy weighted fat pen and my practicing I am learning to write again. Thank God. I love it. I gave it a five-star. The size the weight and the quality of ink and I have always been Tuesday about the type of ink.

Purchased these pens for my daughter who is recovering from a brain injury. Pens are well made and the design is great for people who have motor skill issues and problems.

I bought these pens not once but TWICE as I have nerve damage in my hands due to stage 4 carpal tunnel syndrome. Well, the 1st pair I had to return because the plastic silver cone that goes around the end where the pen makes through was not just defective, it was also cracked in shipping! It was impossible to click the pen tip out to write. I returned it for a replacement and when I received the new replacements and picked one up, it fell to pieces in my hand! I returned them a second time and ordered a different brand which hasn't come in yet. Don't waste your time with these pens!
