Increasingly education is moving into a new paradigm that ensures historically marginalized students don't get left out or mistreated. Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) is at the center of this movement. As a mental health professional new to a K-5 school setting, I needed to get up to speed on PBS theoretically and be able to immediately implement interventions at the student, classroom, and whole-school levels. This book was my trusted guide to learning PBS and I still refer to it regularly for its excellent assessment tools and ideas.
