Cool toy but broke after 1 day
The media could not be loaded. Cool toy for my twin boys. They loved chasing it around. Unfortunately the arms got stuck and stopped spinning after less than a day. This was disappointing.

So much fun!
This RC alien is just the toy my family needed! My 4-year-old is very interested in space, and I had been looking to get him his first remote control vehicle.Bumper Space Car Marky Mars was a perfect fit!The single-direction push-button controls allow the spaceship to move forward with one hand, while the other operates the turning (it only turns in one direction). My son learned to operate it quickly, and the device moves at a slow enough speed to allow preschooler reflexes to stop and adjust before a crash happens. My only tiny disappointment is that the device doesn’t seem to move fast enough to trigger the bumper lights/sounds when it hits something- but he's been having so much fun, that’s not a big deal.. A great toy, in a unique shape, that has my son obsessed!Highly recommended!

Ideal first remote control car
An ideal first little remote control space car for toddlers. Comes in quite a plain and basic cardboard box. Inside the car is far from its basic looking box. You get a remote control, space car and a pop open ball with an alien inside. The remote takes 2 aa batteries and the car takes 4 aa batteries, both are included which is great, meaning it can be played with straight out the box, no searching around for any. Both lots of batteries are held under a screw compartment, so no worry of small hands trying to access them. The toy looks and feels of good quality and is brightly coloured. The remote control has 3 simple push buttons to operate; start/stop, forward and turn. The remote is a good chunky size for little hands to hold and grasp. The buttons are easy to press and it's simple to get the hang of. The car has an on off switch underneath, but also has an auto play and try me setting. When the bumper of the car hits or knocks into anything, it makes a noise and the ring lights up a multiple of bright colours. As its going along the alien inside swings it's arms around and all the little balls inside fly around the dome. It will go into sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity. Simply hit the bumper to restart. It feels well built and durable and has already withstood a few drops to the floor. Perfect for younger children, if they can't first use the remote, they can still chase after the car when its in auto play, see the lights and hear the sounds. Works well on the floors, both carpet and laminate. Great chunky design and a perfect first remote control car. Our little boy absolutely loves it. Would make a great present which wouldn't disappoint.

Fun, sturdy toy - requires quite a lot of batteries though
This is a very easy to use remote control toy for toddlers – so simple in fact that it even has an automatic mode, which allows the ‘Marky Mars’ spaceship to self-drive and travel randomly. The remote control itself is simple and well made. The controller is chunky and has just three buttons: start/stop, forwards, and turn. The spaceship is ruggedly designed, with a bumper bar around the base. The spaceship is occupied by a friendly-faced alien, who is accompanied in his cabin space by a series of little plastic balls that rattle around him. The ship has buttons to create sound effects and a built-in light show. This goes a bit faster over hard floors, but seemed to work OK over carpeting too. There is a little ball (a mini planet) that closes over a second friendly alien, and when the Marky Mars spaceship is bumped into the ball sufficiently, it pops open.I liked the fact that this came with a set of batteries preinstalled, so is ready to be used from out of the box without needing to pay for extras first. However, this uses quite a lot of batteries (4 AAs in the spaceship, and an additional 2 in the remote control), so is not exactly inexpensive to run. This comes in a fairly plain box – brown with blue text and swirls, but no pictures of the contents – so until the set is opened this doesn’t look very exciting. Packaging was almost entirely cardboard, with just the little planet packed in a plastic bag.

So much fun!
A really funny toy to have! Both my kids absolutely loves it ,from the way it looks to the way it lights or sounds ,it is really eye catching .I have my older son who is two and half and he is crazy about the toy .He has learned how to manoeuvre the bumper space car with the help of the remote and he finds it so interesting and funny to play with .He like bumping the car in different objects and laugh at the sounds it makes. Also ,my youngest son who is only 8 months old seems to like it as much too.He is at the stage where he has learned to crawl and follow different toys around the house .He likes following the car a lot which is great as in this way he improved his movements and straighten his muscles. The bumper car sometime makes sounds on its own if left for too long alone so it kinda feels like a mini robot around the house ,almost like a pet :))This would definitely stand out as a gift to any kid ,any age really :)
