Chloe CH1B440GA20-TL2 20" Shade 2 Light Tiffany-Style Featuring Leafs & Grapes Table Lamp Oval Shape, 34 x 20 x 20, Bronze

I don’t think cell phone cameras are capturing the right colors of this pretty lamp. My own phone takes nice pictures, but the pictures of the lamp aren’t as nice as the lamp in person day or night. I see a lot of people mention and even take a star away in their reviews due to their lamps covered in oil. I have this lamp and a medium version with a round shade…this shade is oval which is perfect in my front window…it doesn’t hit the blinds. Anyway, mine also arrived with an oil rub on them, but not overly hosed down with it to complain. I do believe their reviews, as there are enough mentioning it. Anyway, I have no complaints.

The lamp is beautiful and I love it, but I ALMOST gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the description is a bit off. The shade is oddly oval shaped (like a Twinkie) - which I wasn't expecting - so it's not 20"x20"x34", it's more like 20"x<10"x34". The bronze frame is more like black, which is a shame because it makes it difficult to see detail. The leaf motif in the base doesn't show up very well either. The description calls for halogen bulbs. Halogen bulbs get VERY hot and I would be afraid of them damaging the lamp. I used 2 60-watt incandescent bulbs (which I'll switch to LEDs next time they're on sale). Yes, it uses two bulbs, not one and it has pull chains, not a "turn knob." The lamp was very well packaged and simple to put together - unlike so many build-it-yourself items I've managed to purchase. It works well for reading since it's tall but the light reflects downward instead of illuminating the ceiling like my old lamp. It's sturdy and seems well enough balanced that it wouldn't tip over if accidentally bumped. It's a beautiful lamp - both lit and unlit, I just hope they correct the description.

The lamp came well packed, but when we unpacked it the jewel from one of the grapes fell off! It also recked of some sort of oil n was slippery n smelled of oil! Going to call and find out the the heck this is on here and is this normal! Was also missing the washer n screw to attach the top of the base..Disappointed hope they solve this issue for the lamp it's self was nice!

Marvelous accent lamp! VERY colorful! I get many positive remarks on this item!

Clearly, this item had not been assembled prior to shipping. The shade would not fit on the base. The shade was also slightly misshapen and appeared to be made of plastic resin (not glass). Very disappointed!!

I got this for my daugther's birthday. She really liked it.
